The hype is true! This place is a local gem. Such a cozy and friendly atmosphere. I had a wonderful iced americano and a wheat free chocolate cruller. Delicious. It was fun to people watch in this very cool district of Victoria (James Bay) and watch the locals. Everyone around here seems to be healthy and happy living their best life.

We wanted to get away from the touristy areas before heading back to Seattle. Found Discovery Coffee for a place to get a good orange spice mocha and warm up. Love the vibe… the tunes playing, the wooden floors and living wall.

This this coffee shop is spectacular. They played records. It's incredible. The sounds great and the service is incredible. The people there are very nice. Very quick. The food there is spectacular. I had a apple fritter my head almost exploded. It was so good. I had never had an apple fritter taste so good and they have these cheese buns for breakfast and they are killing it with those. It's a very good place to eat and they have a coffee. The cranberry muffins are to die for. I couldn't say more good things about this place. Come and check it out! You'll like the food you like, the service and sit and listen to some LPS five stars for this place from me

When we visit Victoria this is our must stop coffee shop - no matter where we stay I make a point to walk over for coffee and a bite.
The coffee is delicious plain or doctored in your favorite flavors and getups. They have at least three sizes to choose from and anyone works!
The bran vegan muffin does not disappoint and you wouldn’t know it was vegan unless I told you in advance or you looked at the label 😂.

Perfect coffee shop. The people were all super friendly, we had a nice conversation with a lad that worked there, can’t remember his name but he had a Khruangbin shirt on and was super cool. I bought some coffee to take home which is incredible. The ideal neighborhood coffee shop.
