We ordered 4 bags online to be shipped to Edmonton, they were sent promptly but on arrival we noticed our 5lb bag had turned into a 300g bag on its journey over haha. I let them know and with no questions asked they sent us another 5lb bag right away! Love the coffee and love the service. Life long customer from now on!

I absolutely love Discovery’s coffee and tea lattes and have visited multiple locations. However, I decided to give the Discovery Street location a second chance after a poor first experience, thinking that everyone has a bad day sometimes.
Today, after grocery shopping with my dolly in hand, I stopped by the Discovery Street location to grab something to drink. The barista initially smiled at me but then suddenly changed his expression to a look of disdain when he noticed my dolly. The dramatic shift was unpleasant and uncalled for.
I’m typically an easygoing person, and I understand people can make mistakes. However, this wasn’t the case here. There wasn’t anyone behind me at all. I ordered a small London Fog, but they handed me steep Early Grey tea without the steamed oat milk. I had to ask for the oat milk at the bar instead. At that point, I didn’t even bother correcting them further because it was clear they DIDN’T CARE at all.
This was my second disappointing experience at this location, where I’ve encountered a complete lack of customer service. I strongly suggest the owner reconsider who they hire for this location.
While I’ll continue to visit other Discovery locations, I will never return to the Discovery Street location again!! I really wish I can give -5 star for this location.
They have a great relationship with the doughnut store. Almost an unfair advantage.

Discovery Coffee may be the best coffee shop in Victoria - every hot drink I've had here has been wonderful. Also donuts and pastries and a variety of coffee beans die purchase, and some swag.

The donuts are great! But people there are not nice not welcoming! not pleasant at all!
All of them! They do not smile at you or you look at you! They make feel so bad and take the joy of having a coffee and a donut.
I do not know how they manage to hire all unpleasant, unwelcoming employees! Not a single one is good at customer service.
I am not going back even the donuts are great! It is too much bad vibes in the morning.
