My first visit to Discovery Coffee on Blanshard street in Victoria on October 9, 2025. I was told to definitely try it and I got there at 10:10 and had to wait over 10 minutes to put in my order for a Cappuccino. And another 10 minutes to pick it up. My drink was OK but nothing special. I would not wait 10 minutes again, if there is a line up next time I am in town and decide to try it.

A great spot to spend some time, eat yummy food, and have some good drinks. We spent a couple hours here while we waited for our coffee and enjoyed our experience. We shared 2 donuts, a muffin, and 2 different drinks; all of which were delicious! As a wheelchair user, I appreciated the staff going above and beyond by helping me bring everything to the table. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly and inviting.

the atmosphere and service were impeccable. They had nice seating areas as well as really friendly staff! I had gotten a mocha and a latte and they were both not entirely as rich as I wanted them to taste, but still overall good

When I went into this coffee shop, I was shocked that the only food options were donuts. With all of the possible healthier and preferable options for snacks with one’s coffee, they decided to only offer the most unhealthy item possible. Donuts are an absolute carb/sugar-bomb, and it is this sort of junk food that has so many people overweight and obese, and as a result, a massive drain on our health care system and indeed the economy overall. You are complicit in this by CHOOSING to sell this crap. Please stop. Everyone would do well to watch the “Fat Fiction” documentary on YouTube.
Edit: While we tried this place several times, we won't be returning. The staff seem oblivious to their enormously loud banging & clashing of the cups & plates, and the [terrible] music is played WAY too loud. It's as though they are playing what they want, at the volume they want, forgetting all about the customer experience. Does anyone know how to run a business anymore?
