Coffee tastes good but the customer service was horrible. I get that you are busy and stressed but please... you don't have to slam the things down to the table to show everyone your frustration.

This bakery was being featured extensively in online ads, my neighbourhood paper and YAM magazine. I had been wanting to try their “perfect” pastries for quite some time now.
Today, I ventured in and chose a tart. I was shocked to find out it cost more than the panini lunch I just had downtown.
I went on to purchase it however in hopes that it was worth the price. Sadly, it was extremely disappointing. I’ve made better tarts than this and I’m no baker. The filling was dry, it was overall pretty tasteless and the pastry was too buttery in a bad way (greasy).
I want to support local and would consider giving another item a try but with prices that are clearly not catered to locals, I won’t be back.

Carrot cake lattes (iced) were delicious, as well as the chocolate croissant. Very cute cafe and nice staff. I also appreciate the longer business hours for a nice evening sweetie treatie option.
