Just popped in for a quick snack and ordered their vegetable gyoza. They were probably one of the best dumplings I've ever had. Not deep fried, but properly pan fried and steamed. Perhaps a little small but powerful in taste! Not sure about the rest of the food but these were nice!

I'd been looking forward to trying their bento for a while now, and the Tempura Bento with Teriyaki Chicken did not disappoint.

Low quality and poor execution. Chicken rice bowl consisted up gloopy sauce with unseasoned bland chicken that was somehow overcooked while simultaneously being undercooked all within the same piece of chicken. Rice was mushy. Beef yakisoba was equally bad with again, unseasoned and overcooked pieces of beef. Noodles were overdone with the same bland sauce. Go to Edo Japan if this is the type of food you’re seeking.

I can’t lie I walked in here thinking it was as one poke. This sushi was not good and I ended up throwing out practically my entire meal
The sushi i got was poorly made to much when I phoned and stated that they put to much rice all the said we put just the right amount what isn't right

I'm giving this place 5 stars even though I rate the food at a 4, because of what role this place is trying to fulfill it does a good job at - a counter service Japanese food place. I think a lot of people coming here expect standard sit down dining style sushi and food and are disappointed with that. This place is meant to get something at the counter, then either sit and eat or take it to go. The food is good, not amazing, but VERY good value for the price and quick service. For example, a teriyaki chicken bowl that will fill you right up is $8 and ready in 5 minutes. You're not going to get that anywhere else around here, and it tastes just fine. You're not coming here for high end sushi dining, you're coming here for basic but good food at a decent price.

Just don’t. Worst sushi I’ve attempted to eat in 30 years of eating sushi. The two deep fried ‘tuna’ roll had unidentifiable filling. If I were to guess it was canned tuna mixed with something. The rice was more like a thick soggy paste and whatever was on top was also soggy. We also got spicy “tuna” roll which again, seemed to have a different filling more resembling tuna sashimi but seemed minced and the colour and taste were off. The other two (5 rolls in total) were California rolls and similar to above. Thick paste like dense rice and horrible filling with no avocado. None of the rolls came with ginger and they had about a pea sized dollop of wasabi. This was $60 worth of food that we literally had to throw out when we got home after having several bites. Was too worried about being sick and even if not sick, it was too awful to even attempt to eat. This place has been there a long while and I have no idea how.
