I'm giving this place 5 stars even though I rate the food at a 4, because of what role this place is trying to fulfill it does a good job at - a counter service Japanese food place. I think a lot of people coming here expect standard sit down dining style sushi and food and are disappointed with that. This place is meant to get something at the counter, then either sit and eat or take it to go.

Great place to just grab lunch and relax in a down-to-Earth sort of vibe. Straight-forward, tasty food. Sometimes I ask for half a scoop of teriyaki sauce since in can be taste too sweet and overpowering if I eat here often. Not as budget-friendly as McDonald's, but great value nonetheless if you prefer regularly having Japanese food over McD. Wish there more more cheap, practical places like this to get ethnic foods in general.

Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant was very inviting. The interior was clean and modern, with a sleek design that created a relaxing atmosphere. The lighting was dim, which added to the overall ambiance and made for a more intimate dining experience.
