Easily the best coffee in town. The baristas are wonderful, too. Super sweet and genuinely engaging. Their presence is a huge part of what makes this place feel so welcoming. Give em all a raise.

Really snarky unfriendly front counter staff member, didn't see her name tag but hair in a bandana, tattoos on arms and wearing glasses. Not very friendly and I heard her making comments under her breath while I was ordering and collecting my order. Also on her phone while working, kinda noteworthy. Besides that, outside of the place smells pretty bad, really just a consequence of the location, can't be helped but I figured it was worth mentioning. At the end of the day food was actually quite nice! Enjoyed the double chocolate cookie and the skewers I got. I was informed that my food order was taking a little longer than expected so I was treated to some complementary cheese and crackers which I must admit was quite nice and unexpected. All in all I think it is a good place, little bit pricey but the quality is probably equivalent to the price! My only criticism is really the front counter staff member, if not for her unnecessary rudeness I probably would be giving 5* To me, a friendly welcoming environment is important at an establishment and the front counter staff sets the tone for the rest of your experience.

I come almost every morning to enjoy the tea and gluten free baking. It’s so difficult to find good gluten free baking and the muffins are 10/10!

I miss that large vegetable pizza they used to have. The first one I got was large and it was on a cutting board. It was great quality. The last time I had one was much smaller, not as rich ingredients, mostly bread.

We stopped in on our bikes yesterday at 3:55 pm and the staff behind the counter (female) had no interest in helping us to figure out if there was cashews in some of the products.
She did mention they were made in-house at “the other location” but that was as far as she wanted to go.
The ingredients for food should be made available for those inquiring instead of “blowing us off”
The cold brew was good and the area clean. The gentleman who brought us our coffee was very pleasant.

Don't get the salmon croquettes. Almost all potato with the odd shred of salmon (if you squint real hard). It's not like they wouldn't know. Not cool.

Great coffee shop, although the wifi has been down the last couple of times I’ve gone for a coffee and some work. Unfortunately I was told it’s not on the priority list to fix from the staff anytime soon.
Some of the best coffee in town. Beautiful interior and great outdoor seating, especially on a nice sunny day. Definitely a top recommendation to anyone in town!

Our family visits a lot of coffee shops and cafes in Victoria, and we were really disappointed with the level of friendliness and helpfulness the two baristas showed our entire group (of 5). They didn't smile, they were rude when we asked if they warmed up sausage rolls, and repeated back a question we had asked in loud and over enunciated tones. One of our group members has also experienced less friendly service at the Kings road location too. Beautiful location, but unfortunately we will be visiting many of the other lovely cafes in Victoria next time.
