first time in and wow! not only was the pizza amazing, so was our server/ bartender! Molly was so knowledgeable and accommodating. She’s a pro at her job! The drinks were fantastic and I can’t wait to go back!

We have eaten here regularly since it opened. The food is amazing, the service fantastic, and the new to us bartender Sacha takes everything over the top. The drinks were poured quickly but carefully, and we noticed that if the other servers were busy he'd come around with our drinks or bring food to another table. There is a real team at Faro, and it makes everyone's experience that much better. BRAVO!

Absolutely perfect pizzas (compliments to the chef!), service, and atmosphere. Our server, Ambrosia, was welcoming, accommodating, and informative. Had a wonderful, wide-ranging chat with her. An absolute gem,in all respects! Same goes for the restaurant. ... We will be back!!!

Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! Food was very good. Wine selection was ok for an Italian restaurant. Cocktails were great! Inside was a little crammed and we felt we were seated right in the middle of everyone walking by. Overall a great spot for dinner and we would return.

Food is really delicious but service could be much improved. Not slow enough that it necessarily takes away from the evening, but we sat with empty wine glasses for far too long, no side plates when our appy came, a messy table full of dishes for too long, empty water glasses, and promised a dessert menu that took 10 minutes so by the time it was delivered we no longer wanted to order dessert. Better service would definitely increase the revenue for this place as we would have had another round of drinks (or 2!) and dessert if we service had of been more prompt. But still... go for the pizza and then go get great service somewhere else!

It was my second visit on Monday, the 22nd, and they definitely didn’t disappoint! As expected, the pizza was fantastic, but this time the cocktails truly blew me away—so much more than just a drink. The meticulous balance of fresh ingredients and flavors was absolutely impressive. Even if you’re there for the pizza, I highly recommend ordering a cocktail.

The server was incredibly kind and professional. What stood out most was how consistently they used hand sanitizer after every interaction—whether greeting guests or clearing tables. These small but habitual actions showed their serious commitment to cleanliness, which made me feel completely at ease enjoying my meal. The trust in their hygiene standards was a huge plus!

The hotel is a beautiful spot in a gorgeous part of Oak Bay. The service is always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is excellent. Some of the best pizza in the city. My only question is why I don't go more often?!

Faro is my favourite pizza place in Victoria! The main reason is they have a delicious cashew cheese for us with dairy allergies! It is such a treat to be able to eat a cheese that tastes like real cheese! Faro is the only restaurant I come to for pizza because all the other restaurants use gross Daiya cheese! My family has been coming here regularly for years! The quality never changes! The only thing that was a huge disappointment this visit was that they removed their salt spring cider. Myself, my family and my friends would come all the time for the delicious cider and pizza! Sadly now we have to decide between pizza or cider. But overall best pizza place in Victoria! The pizza is incredible and the service is just as amazing!
