I have never had a bad experience or any food that hasn't been exceptional. A great place for a date night, lunch with friends or out of town visitors.

The food was excellent — no issues there. Unfortunately, the service was frustrating from start to finish. It took 15 minutes for anyone to even approach our table. After ordering drinks, only three out of four arrived — and not until another 15 minutes had passed. We finished those and ordered a second round, yet the fourth person in our group still hadn’t received their original drink. When we followed up, we were told it had been mistakenly given to someone else.

We waited over an hour for our pizza — a wood-fired pizza that should take under two minutes to cook. When we asked about the delay, they blamed it on an allergy in the kitchen, which was never communicated to us and frankly didn’t add up. They offered some complimentary bread, but it showed up after the food did, and there was never an apology or anything comped.

Great food, but the disorganized service and lack of accountability really ruined the experience.

Worse service I’ve ever had . Took 30 mins for a drink and over an hour for food. Would never go back.

The pizza was soupy in the middle and could be cooked longer. Will come back and try again maybe.

We were staying at the hotel and ordered the carbonara pizza and a caprese salad to take away to have in our room. Staff were lovely as we enjoyed a cocktail during our wait. We were a bit taken aback by the price of the salad, but when we tasted it we swooned. It was FABULOUS. Well worth the money. The pizza was fantastic as well Highly recommended.

service was slow....many people in service but seemed disorganized, long wait to get drinks...prosciutto pizza was our mistake in ordering it...challenge eating it...the salads we had were very good, and we had 2 desserts shared among 3 also were very good. appreciate the non alcohol cocktails

Pizza at the Faro was very tasty and the other sides were had were equally delicious. We also had breakfast at the pub patio in the sun and it was very well prepared and presented. The service was excellent at both places. The room was very nice and the pool and hot tub was another level. Thanks.

The pizza was excellent. The restaurant space was smaller than I expected and without the views we had hoped to enjoy. Next time we are in Victoria we will try the Snug Bar instead, with the gorgeous views of the ocean.
