Wonderful ambience, and our server was fantastic. First time in the rebuilt Oak Bay Beach Hotel and it was gorgeous, upscale but not pretentious.Had the Bianco Verde and Margherita with added arugula. The tomato sauce was flavourful and the outer crust was chewy and nicely done. It got quite soggy quickly so perhaps the thickness under the toppings needs to be dialed in, but will definitely be back!

Dinner was awesome. We split the cauliflower salad with romesco and the caprese baratta then shared the fungi pizza. The pesto on the caprese was one of the best I've had. Everything was great, service, ambiance.

Food, atmosphere and service all excellent! Went with my family, ordered 3 pizza’s and the Meatballs. All were terrific. They did make a small error with the meatballs mistaking the order with another dish but quickly replaced it and gave us desert on the house for the delay. We’ve eaten there several times and keep going back as they know how to treat customers while at the same time serve terrific food which I have found is extremely rare in Victoria.

Our server was very helpful. He checked into a couple of issues for us and was able to accommodate our requests. The food was good and for me the addition of the spiced honey was very tasty. I will be back.

Another wonderful experience at Faro. The hostesses were friendly and helpful, and our cocktails and food were all delicious. The server was attentive and seemed to really care about our experience. The timing for the service for everything was perfect as well : )

Dine out menu ( short rib) was amazing. Pizzas were just okay. I've had better. Surprised as that is their claim to fame. Server was very good and enjoyed his personality. Will return as liked the ambience.
Michael was our server and he was absolutely exceptional! We were exhausted and it was busy and he treated us like we were royalty! I think he is one of a kind and we can’t wait to come back again!

Michael is the finest server in well run favourite pizza place. We appreciate the warm reception and the fresh ingredients going into our pizzas. Looking forward to the patio being open in spring and who know maybe Ella the OBBH pooch will convince Faro to make some dog friendly tables! ?
