Seriously the best tofu scramble I’ve ever had; just the right amount of spice. Hardest part was walking past all the delicious donuts,scones and baked goods to order breakfast first. We got some sweet treats to go. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They made special pancakes for the 2 yr old we were traveling with. I would eat there every day if I could. Will definitely go back next time we are in Victoria. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-22

My family LOVES Fern. They’re so consistent and kind, my husband loves the cinnamon buns so much that we got a giant one as his cake. Need a birthday cake? You can count on Fern to come through with a giant donut. My kiddo refuses to eat a croissant with honey mustard now because of how delicious it is a Fern. Appreciate you and your team so much! Plus the vibes are 10/10

If you ever want to redefine your expectations for what a cinnamon bun can be, try this one! I had no idea it was vegan until after the 2nd time is ordered one.
A little personal tip: slice it in half, giving you a top and a bottom, add butter or margarine and pan sear until nice and toasty. To go even one further step, dip each side in an egg and milk bath and French toast them!
