Upstairs Seafood & Oyster Bar (Ferris')

We had the cod and the steak. Both meals were delicious. We've been to Ferris before (previous time visiting Victoria) and will likely try it again. The menu is limited with an emphasis on oysters but there's enough variety in the mains to find something great. Service was fine too.

We regularly go to Ferris' Upstairs for birthday dinners. It's a lovely place for a treat!

Our wait staff was excellent and knowledgeable. The food was amazing......... except one dish, the sauce for the mussels were flavourless and bland. This was quite concerning as these are one of there go to dishes. Just want to say the other dishes were fantastic, clam linguine, Black cod, steak, oysters and whipped ricotta were all amazing.

Lovely restaurant with exemplary service. The server was very helpful in speaking to the kitchen regarding some food allergies and vegetarian preferences. They were also helpful in letting us know about happy hour - squeezing us in just under the wire. Highly recommended for an evening with friends.

Went to Ferris' for a birthday, when we arrived the staff had wrote a cute birthday card! Our server Kayla was amazing it was her birthday aswell! Such great service! Kayla was amazing!!

Fabulous food. Fabulous service. We will return next time we are in town, no question about it.

Did not come close to the hype. Service was cool and rushed. Food was only okay. The tro of oyster was nice. Would not give it a second try

Server was top notch. Funny and attentive, so nice to see people enjoying their jobs!! Made our experience exceptional.

Was in town for just a few hours as a cruise stop and was craving oysters. We booked the upstairs bar and it was exactly what we were looking for! Excellent craft cocktails and the freshest local oysters served with shaved horseradish and a homemade mignonette. We ordered a few of the small bites (bacon wrapped dates with blue Cheese were our favorite!). Loved the bar vibe, music and service was good. Would love to come back for an entree if we ever come this way again.

Service was fast and friendly, lingcod was best I ever had, dessert was very tasty and exciting.

The upstairs dining room was a lovely oasis and our server was fantastic. We were there 5 minutes before end of happy hour so got cocktails and oysters at HH prices. Oysters were great, so was cauliflower appetizer, very fresh and tasty. Both lung cod and black cod were excellent, great flavor combinations and fish cooked perfectly. Just a fabulous dinner away from the tourist fray of downtown. Highly recommend

Black cod portion was TINY...2.5 ounces at most. When I mentioned to the manager he just thanked me for my feedback. Obviously Ferris knows they're chiseling the portions. Sad.

Absolutely wonderful meal. My husband raved about the oysters and we both were very happy with our seafood choices, Manila clams linguine and Bouillabaisse.

Fantastic gem in Victoria. Excellent food, outstanding service, and great ambience. Well worth the long flight of stairs to get there!
