A great place to work, think, write, and meet with others. I was here for morning coffee and got the coffee muffin deal for $4. Muffin was awesome and coffee was pretty good. Nice and quiet for writing - aside from the loud white noise of the ventilation fan overhead. Lots of elbow room and power outlets everywhere! I'll be back. Highly recommended.

Really good Halibut and Chips, unfortunately the cook salted the chips too much, next time I’ll order without salt. The next time in I ordered no salt on fries unfortunately the batter wasn’t quite cooked on the fish.

The service here is just brutal... I have been in a couple of times, food is decent, nothing special. But the service.. You sit and wait 10 minutes before someone wanders in and takes your order, then the food takes a while, and then when you are finished you have to wait another 10 minutes to pay! Last time i was in the girl disappeared for 30 minutes. I went over the the coffee bar and asked to pay and they told me i couldnt pay there, she went looking for the girl to help me and she couldnt even find her... I understand there is no tipping, but i'd expect a little better than this!

You will wait forever just to order

Great selection of beers, $1 off for happy hour (4-7pm daily)

Tried this great little spot for the first time yesterday. They've got a good selection of local craft beers on tap, $6 pints! Fish & chips are delicious. Friendly counter service too. Will definitely be back.

Seriously disappointing. $20 for Halibut and Chips and you get less fish (in total!) than a McDonald's filet o' fish. So many places in town serve far more fish and charge less. Try Haultain Fish & Chips just off Cook St; each piece of fish is bigger than the three fish fingers here. I doubt they are even battered in-house. After all, if you were doing batter in-house, you'd serve battered oysters, too, right? And the fries look like a low-end frozen bag, but at least they're not stingy with them... something has to fill the basket, I guess. It sure isn't the tiny fish tid-bits.Then there is service... 7pm and only one person working, and she was blissfully closing up for five minutes before taking my order.Poor quantity fish, poor quality chips, and slow service. And expensive. Insane expensive, for what you get.Life is too short to bother eating here.

I had been here beforw and the food was great. My most recent experience was terrible. Stood in like where they had said order and pay here. Waited over ten minutes where when the girl came out she assisted people not waiting at the till. Stated she would be with me in a moment but continued on serving everyone else. Would not recommend this place anymore. If you gave a sign stating order and oay here.. then take the orders there not everywhere else.
