Pretty good ambiance, and overall close proximity to our conference at the Victoria Convention Centre.
Great custom drinks on the menu. Thank you mixologist Irene!
Wonderful experience at Fire + Water. Very professional staff, and the food service was quick and excellent. Recommend highly.
We were hoping to be served a great salmon dish, given the BC location, however it was very dry. The chicken in the chicken & avocado burger was also overcooked. The onion soup was nice. But a disappointing experience overall.
Stopped by for a quick breakfast, and our server Brynn was outstanding. Not only was she super attentive, she was hilarious and her vibe made the breakfast that much more enjoyable.
We really enjoyed the unique drinks, the delicious West Coast inspired food and the atmosphere! We will definitely come back again!
Atmosphere was nice. Food was alright. Service was a little lacking for the prices. Server wasn't overly attentive. Both my wife's wine glass and the next table overs was covered in dishwasher streaks. Yet the bar staff spent the entire time talking about growing their hair out and chatting in the corner when they could have been cleaning glasses and the bar. Not sure it is worth a return visit.
We were looking for a contemporary restaurant that served seafood dishes that matched our tastes. We chose Fire + Water because of the dishes offered. We were so happy about this choice as our food was so good and fulfilled our cravings for fresh seafood since we are from the Prairies. For our appetizer we ordered calamari which was on happy hour special. They were not oily and did not have too much breading. My boyfriend ordered the salmon and scallops which was delicious and cooked perfectly. I ordered the Fire and Water seafood salad and it had prawns, candied salmon and smoked salmon. It was a huge portion of salad with lots of protein. I will dream of that salad forever. š Our server was super nice and the food came out quickly. Next time we are visiting Victoria, we would totally come again.
I absolutely love this restaurant and highly recommend it to everyone! The atmosphere, the food, and the staff are all amazing, definitely a 10/10. Iāve been to this restaurant twice, with my second visit being on Valentineās Day. The waitress was an absolute sweetheart who made the night even more special. I had their lasagna from the Valentineās menu, and it was the best lasagna Iāve ever had in my entire life. Canāt wait to come back again!
So, my family and I went to Fire and Water. For the Dine around event in Victoria. And it was our Wedding anniversary as well. The food, Travis our server, the ambience was wonderful. I had the crab cake as a starter, then Osso Bucco, finishing off with apple cake. Sooooooo good. Everything was wonderful. My wife, had the salmon, My son's had a great time. Travis was friendly and fun. And help selecting our dishes with some great advice. Overall a superb experience.
If only all dining experiences could be like that.
Will definitely go back again.

We went for the first time last night to experience the dine around menu. It was to die for! We had the potato veloute, the osso bucco and both desserts. The osso bucco was the BEST we have ever had! Fall off the bone, rich , delicious and the accompaniments (carrots sweet potato and red cabbage) were cooked to perfection. The soup was a creamy explosion of flavour and the white chocolate glazed cheesecake took it all over the top. 10 out of 10!
We brought a group of 5 for the Dine Around Town event, and thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was excellent with many attractive choices and the service was excellent. We all started with an interesting cocktail. Excellent suggested wine pairings for the Dine Around menu, also.
Service was ok - not great just ok. It was New Year's Eve and there was a set menu. The lamb was covered in a sauce and I couldn't taste the lamb at all. I will not recommend this restaurant or ever go back.
Dined in for two hours. Waited for a long for the food to be served. Says kitchen is busy but the people beside us gets their Entrees first. Korean glazed pork belly was great! But have to wait for an hour to get our Entrees! Steak was full of black pepper and lamb wasn't great either. Dessert was good! Service was too long and staff wasn't friendly at all!
It was just simply too expensive. The value you for what we got was not worth the price we paid. This was the highest amount I have ever paid for food in Victoria and this included 2 very mediocre meals from the kids menu.
