Excellent evening out! We sat in the side lounge directly in front of the fireplace and it was lovely! I felt like I was in a private cabin. Service, drinks, food, noise, ambience...everything was excellent. I never realized how much of a local gem this place was just down the road. Can't wait to try the patio in the summer.

I go to the Fireside for it's creative & delicious menu, fantastic service. A great place to meet friends, family and clients.

Love this restaurant. The food was excellent, my pizza was so delicious. The sticky coffee pudding for dessert was to die for, a huge shareable piece. Our server was knowledgeable and engaging. A great place!!

Always enjoy happy hour at fireside Grill. Prefer their previous happy hour menu with more options. Relatively new waiter who has excellent. Ambience perfect.

A delightful evening. The Buddha bowls were the best we've tasted. Justin was an friendly and efficient waiter.

In future would try to request a table next to a wall or window. The space is great, but when busy the noise/volume of everyone around our table in the middle of the room made it hard to hear others at our tabke.

Very disappointed in the mediocre food. Paper thin soggy pizza with barely identifiable basil shreds and almost non existent cheese. My companion's beef dip portion was small with about twenty fries in a cup. This was the first time I have seen coffee at $4 a cup. The bill was over $80 for just lunch for two. My friend did have a $12 cocktail however we had no appetizer and no dessert! I won't likely return. With so many new restaurants opening with exciting tasteful offerings there is a need for established venues to step up their game. Also when booking a reservation noting mobility issues it would be extremely helpful to let customers know that the front door is NOT accessible. I discovered a rear accessible entrance AFTER dragging my walker up the front steps.....

Terrific experience. Beautifully decorated for the season. Lots of buzz amongst diners enjoying each other. All ages. Meals were delicious. Good portions. Quick and efficient service. Noise level was high but we got used to it.

One of the best places in Victoria to gather for a Christmas Lunch/Dinner - Merry Christmas

One of my favourite places for a business lunch. Central location, lots of parking, great food, friendly staff and prompt service. No waiting around for your bill while emails are piling up.

We were greeted promptly and seated. The servers were courteous and timely with beverages and time to look over the menu and make our food choices. The food was enjoyed by all in my party.

Had a wonderful lunch. Service was friendly and efficient. The "Buddha Bowl" I had was very good. Best I've had in Victoria. My friend enjoyed her "Poke Bowl" too.

The expensive ribeye steaks were a very poor cut and half fat. The seafood linguine was borderline inedible due to the high salt. My tuna poke bowl was good. The waitress was great but only comp'd one steak at 50% and gave us a free dessert. Food quality was definitely disappointing and has deterioted.

It was a perfect send off for out-of-town guests who had been experiencing Canada's cooler autumn temperatures and are unaccustomed to that. Sitting by the fireplace in a quiet spot where we could visit without having to yell was absolutely perfect. Food was great although one of the guest's portions was small and he does not have a large appetite (coconut shrimp). It sure would be nice to have bread and butter served at the table to supplement the meals, especially while we wait for food to arrive. Whatever happened to the common practice of that? Otherwise a great evening dinner for which we are grateful.
