Staff were all very hospitable and provided friendly service with a warm smile. We thoroughly enjoyed the food the as well. The squid in the buryani rice stood out for me as it was really tender and delicious. We will definitely dine at fishhook again during our next visit to Victoria.

Amazing restaurant with delicious dishes for any seafood lover. I have been to both Fishhook locations in Victoria and love the dishes they have on their menus. Everything tastes delicious and is very fresh. The atmosphere is wonderful, and the outdoor seating at the back of this location is a bonus. Service has always been wonderful. One of my favourite restaurants in Victoria for sure!Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly but more of an upscale restaurant, so I wouldn’t bring a large group of kids here. Plus it’s fairly expensive.

Fishhook is TRULY a Victoria staple, the food is unique, and the staff is incredibly friendly. If you’re ever visiting Victoria, this is a MUST eat, the food is so tasty! On top of that, they are very accommodating with special diets, the Fish n Chips is celiac friendly, which is incredible! One of the best places in Victoria!They also serve one of the best fries I’ve ever eaten, it is a superb experience.Dietary restrictions: Celiac/Gluten-free friendly

We went here because of the reviews and it lived up to the ratings. Great food with amazing flavors. This place is nice and on the smaller end, but the service was good and the place was clean. We ordered the fried chicken for the kids and really enjoyed the biryani. The service was pretty good too and we sat outside in the little patio area. Overall a good experience for Indian food with a French flair.

Amazing!! So much flavour, loved it!! I got the mussels and my boyfriend got the fish biryani!! We ate it all. The place was a little filled and I'm not usually personally a fan of busy places but not in a bad way, you just know they were busy because the food was so good ? portions, were a good size too ❤️
