Been there couple times. Food, atmosphere and service 5/5. Had a really good impression with the cafe and really kind owner too! And this time, we had a different employee serving us and the employee wasn’t very kind.. in fact was very rude, the way she talked to us and how she handed the beverage and the food we ordered was not very thoughtful as if she didnt wanted to do her job. We even tipped her for the takeout and she made us think twice about the place whether if we want to visit again or not. Maybe I should find the time when the owner is there.. she was very kind and pleasant to talk to..

My partner got two slices of cake to go. Later the same day we pull them out of the fridge for dessert and I notice that there is mold on one of the slices! How long are these cakes sitting in the display that there is mold starting to grow on them? Gross!!! Too bad, because they looked great otherwise!

This is a new hidden gem for desserts. We tried the carbonated coffee - we can only say it’s not what we expect or need more time to get used to the combination. In terms of the mango cake - the cream and the body of the cake taste exactly the type of birthday I enjoyed eating in Taiwan! This is a real cake shop that’s held up by a tea shop. ?❤️ We will be back for their birthday cakes!

We ordered two pieces of cake and an iced tea. The cakes were light, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. Iced tea is very refreshing and has just the right amount of sweetness. Services was lovely and the aesthetic of the place was gorgeous.

The drinks we ordered were very mediocre and didn’t seem to be made right. The mochi was very dry and the sponge cake/cheese cakes tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The guy who was helping us was very unwelcoming. When we were sitting down about to start eating, he told us we couldnt sit as they were closing at 4:30. He then left a little bit after and we noticed the door was still open. We then went and asked the other worker about when they closed, and he said 6 PM. The other guy was supposedly new and that’s why he didn’t know, which is understandable, but it doesn’t take long to confirm with an employee about when you’re closing. Also, found it weird that an employee doesn’t know when the store they work at closes, regardless of whether they’re new or not. As well, his customer service was absolutely horrible, I asked if I could order something and he hesitates and goes “uhhhh sure.” Never coming back. Overpriced and inadequate service.

Everything from the service, the drinks, the treats, and the whole sitting environment was just so lovely. 10/10 recommend if you want a cute spot to get cute drinks and read/write/get together with friends in a cozy, clean, peaceful environment. Can’t wait to go back!

I have come to Flourish a few times now, and every time I have a pleasant experience! The staff are always friendly and take the time to make you feel welcome. Every drink I have gotten so far I have enjoyed, I really like the barley tea, rose latte and Japanese purple latte.Would recommend this shop if you're interested in trying a new type of hot drink!
