I used to go here twice a week and the food is really good. I used to go here probably for about six months over the last while. I’ve noticed that the product and the quality check of the food is lacking. The last time I went there I ordered two eggs benny and they came out with it with only one so I asked if they could remake it and they did but when I start to leave, I noticed I didn’t have my Holland sauce and the food was cold. This used to be my favourite spot I’d rather go to McDonald’s instead.

A local legend, it's a diner that focused everything on the atmosphere. The floors are on a slant, the music 🎵 from the 50's, and the walls are adorned with various kitsch, and tributes to various 50's celebrities. Home of the legendary Mahoney, where the staff picks what you get, and perfect crispy fried potatoes, Floyd's is your hometown that's familia, comfortable, and casual. It's very relaxing. The tile floor is chilly, and the draft at the doors waves the hanging posters, so it's not the warmest. Bring a sweater in the fall/winter. Came for breakfast, had the Herb Hudson Chicken and waffle Benny. Perfect potatoes placed plateside provided a particularly punchy crunch and pleasant potential vessel for soaking up additional hollandaise, which when mixed with the cranberry, was a great addition to a waffle and crispy chicken dish. I enjoyed my meal. I enjoyed the atmosphere. Could have been better, had I brought a sweater, but it couldn't dampen the spirits and vibes of the serving staff. They were having fun, and everyone was better for it.

If you have been to any Floyd’s you know it is Retro, vibrant, and colourful atmosphere. It is mostly a breakfast and lunch diner..the people there are great. I had the beef dip and it was delicious.. The only Quam I have is with the coffee. It is terrible!! It’s the second time now at this place, I’ve ordered a coffee and immediately regretted it after the first sip. 🫣 I just need to remember how bad it is next time… 😅I would hope they could make some adjustments there.. as I am sure there are many coffee lovers like myself… who enjoy a coffee with their 🥘. Other than that, it’s great. Just bring your own coffee.
I've been a loyal customer of Floyd Diner Langford for the past three years, and it has always been my favorite breakfast spot—until today. This morning, we were seated at the counter, which was uncomfortable, so we politely asked the server if we could move to a different table. To our surprise, the response was a firm no—we were told we had to either stay at the counter or wait 20 to 30 minutes, despite there being visibly open table. The lack of flexibility and customer care was deeply disappointing. After years of enjoying your food and service, being treated this way was both unexpected and unacceptable. We chose to leave the diner rather than stay somewhere we clearly weren’t welcome. It's unfortunate to see a place I once recommended so highly lose sight of the very service that made it special
