.🥲Normally have an ok experience. Today though had the Austin Benny andwas very disappointed. When they state porkbelly and you get shaved roast porkbelly that is not seasoned and because it is thinner than their bacon super chewy and distracts from the other flavours of the dish which are okay.
If they rubbed it and braised the belly and cut proper thick slices for porkbelly it would do the oppisite and add to the dish 🥲.
What can I say? Huge portions. I'm a pretty big eater. Never leave anything. But me and my wife could have shared the Lumberjacks Breakfast. Good service. Loads of 50s, 60s and 70s memorabilia stuff to look at on the walls. Recommended.
We are visiting from Ohio and needed somewhere to eat breakfast. In all my travels, I’ve never encountered a friendlier staff. Every single person in the restaurant was happy and chatty and helpful in a genuine way. The food was delicious, we both got the hash and the portions were enormous. Wish we were in town longer so we could eat here again!
