Opens at 8 AM, to me that’s late for a breakfast place, especially on vacation., Food was good pretty good, pancake was as expected, bacon great. Beef deep was nice, didn’t like the modified dip, with soy sauce and it was way too salty. Had the hot or spicy ham soup, it was horrible, way way too hot overkill I think it was intentionally sabotage because they sell an all you can eat bowl and there was no way to finish a single bowl, no flavour all fire. Bad job kitchen. Had traditional eggs Benny two days in a row, was fine, eggs done right. atmosphere was relaxed and good. Service is okay, inconsistent one morning the kids pancakes came with a free drink and whipped cream option and another neither of them were offered. The Floyd’s potatoes are these deep fried, dried out disks, you can substitute them with something else. Been back for 4X for brunch.

It was a nice walk getting here. I usually come with friends but felt like an outing solo was a better vibe. This is not my first time here but it’s been a while and I’ve never been to the location before. I was recommended the Moroccan Chicken Benny. It was busy so I didn’t get as attended to but I understood the reason. Good was awesome. I’m glad I took the recommendation, sweet chutney and chicken married well with the hollandaise. I enjoyed my experience very much and I was able to get some words down.

My husband and I were at Floyd’s yesterday. My egg Benny was cold and the fries were hard. My husbands meal was not good his fries were hard and his Jonny cash burger was hard as well. Very disappointed..

Went to Floyd’s diner at the new location, always been meaning to visit at the old but couldn’t bear the lineups. Food was great, big portions and good quality meats. Excellent service and had a pet friendly patio.

We had a wonderful breakfast at Floyd's yesterday. The food was made and served quickly (under 15 minutes), accurately (the orders were right) and it was all nice and warm, and delicious. Our server was attentive, polite and paying close attention to us, keeping our drinks refilled repeatedly. I have been a long time although infrequent visitor (when in town) and the experience was as good as ever in this new location.
It is evident to me that Floyd's management has worked out the issues in prior recent reviews and is on top of ensuring a good the food experience.
The only mild issue was that we ate outside on the patio and were visited by a hornet. It was otherwise very nice. However, if there could be some anti-hornet measures in place that would be nice; I couldn't tell there were any.

Came at open, waited for 45 minutes for the food when restaurant was only half full. Specially told waitress that we wanted medium soft but eggs came out hard. Also tol them that we needed an extra plates but didn't get them, had to remind them to get plates.

Food is okay, nothing fancy, other breakfast places have better food and service. I would not recommend this one. One of our orders was missing bacon, eggs weren't soft medium. Server couldn't even tell which one has medium soft, which one has hard eggs.

Not the Floyd's of old :(

Basically just a Denny's located in a tired hotel.

Floyd’s Diner is such a cozy, quirky gem! The atmosphere instantly put us at ease — it’s fun, a little cheeky, and matched our sense of humour perfectly. The walls are full of playful art, and the servers’ witty T-shirts just add to the charm.
The food was fresh, delicious, and served in generous portions that left us more than satisfied. It’s the kind of place where you feel like a local right away, and the upbeat vibe makes the whole meal an experience, not just a bite to eat.

We’ll definitely be back for another round of laughs and great food!

I came to this place because of its high rating. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the hype. Several dishes listed (like fresh fruit and pancakes) were missing. The orange juice wasn’t fresh and overpriced. We arrived at 8:30 but still had to wait quite a while to be served. Just an average experience.

.🥲Normally have an ok experience. Today though had the Austin Benny andwas very disappointed. When they state porkbelly and you get shaved roast porkbelly that is not seasoned and because it is thinner than their bacon super chewy and distracts from the other flavours of the dish which are okay. If they rubbed it and braised the belly and cut proper thick slices for porkbelly it would do the oppisite and add to the dish 🥲.

Great food + great service + great atmosphere.. if you wanted to start your day right, have your breakfast at Floyd's. They have a wide variety of menu from pancakes and sandwiches to heavy breakfast. Their staff are so friendly and accommodating. Small place but good ambiance. The vibe is vibing at Floyd's 😍

Start your day at Floyd’s! Great place for breakfast. Awesome staff. And honestly a fresh relief from Victoria’s astronomical price for everything. You get an amazing portion size for what you pay and so you won’t need lunch that’s for sure. Just keep in mind it is extremely popular and you might need to wait a bit to be seated if you are a party of three or more. But, it’s well worth the wait!
