The best bakery in the city! These folks are magicians with baking and the result is incredible pastries and the best bread in the city. Ignore those who complain about price. Good things are worth every penny, and I will gladly pay $1 more for a real Pain au Chocolate that makes me feel like I am back in the alps.

Bread is very good, wholewheat sourdough. Croissants used to be very good, but today were undercooked and raw - not sure if a bad batch or a new baker. Also - why ask for an 18% tip for takeaway? remove the tip option - theres no table service anyways.

My favourite organic bakery in the city. In October, I treat myself to their stunning pumpkin pie and tarts.

Perfectly situated along the main bike path and only a 10 minute walk from downtown Victoria, this is a great stop for a sausage roll or other pastry and a yummy Americano. The service is always great. The atmosphere is full of cyclists and active local crowd. There is also a deli adjacent to the coffee bar where you can get all sorts of savoury lunches and can even grab a beer or a local cider. If you’re staying downtown, I highly recommend taking the short 10 minute stroll over the bridge and past the shipyard to this place

This is one of the very best bakeries in town in terms of quality, creativity, and service. Every time I am in awe of the flavours and freshness of whatever I buy there. I am grateful to have this bakery in town. These people know how to create the most scrumptious pizzas, breads, sausage rolls and delectable desserts too! Thank you!!

The cheese and mustard danish was unequivocally bussin. Unique combo, but they ate with this one. No crumbs left for the both of us.

Excellent coffee and pastries but pricing is awful. $6.75 for a 12oz latte? $1 to slice bread? I’ve never been charged in my life for bread sliced. And this is $1 higher than any latte I’ve paid for in Canada.

Visited here two days in a row for an early breakfast including coffees and London fogs, and croissants/pain au chocolat. The best croissants I’ve had outside of France by far. Absolute perfection. If I lived closer I would be here all the time. Highly recommend

Dietary restrictions: Alternative milks available for coffees

Parking: Need to park in garage next door. A little hard to locate.

One of my vacation's best highlights is my morning coffee and fresh Croissants.
I Googled and found this little French Bakery, Fol Epi, not far from our hotel.
It took me and my wife about ten minutes to walk and get there.
The area is a new neighborhood that is coming up with a lot of construction.
As soon as we walked in, we could smell the freshly baked pastries, which smelled like baked bread, butter, sugar, rising yeast, and vanilla.
We got three fresh and warm Croissants and two coffees from the next door.
On the way back, we noticed a mother deer and a calf, and we had to take a few photos of them.
We enjoyed everything from the patio sitting to our coffee and pastries in Fol Epi.
I recommend visiting this little French bakery and the next-door coffee shop.
