Our high-school alumni love getting together for lunch and brunch at the 4-Mile. The staff are terrific and are very accommodating. We'll be back!

Our reservation got a little mixed up ( had us in the restaurant) but no problem, we found a table in the pub. Might have been my own fault. I highly recommend a reservation on Wing Wednesday because at 4:00 it fills up quickly. The service is always very good and of course the food doesn't disappoint with excellent value for wings at $12.00 on Wednesday and a good deal on wine for Wednesdays also. The new appies such as the calamari appies for $8.00 are good value, although the lettuce leaves we received weren't the best. ( outer leaves of a romaine) they should use a butter lettuce. You can them cheaply at Costco and always nice and fresh. Our server, Simone was excellent. I live close by so walking to the pub makes for an easy dinner. Now they are all decorated up for Halloween which makes it very cute! October 22/25 ❤️🐝

The Oktoberfest menu is great! We were dining with older family members with hearing difficulties and it was not noisy so we had good conversation. The food was enjoyed by everyone, my Cobb salad wasn't wonderful but I'm kinda picky, I should have got one of the specials. Waiter was good and attentive. Nice place to take out of town guests for a good meal. And the gardens outside are so beautiful ❤️

Hosted a wonderful bookish brunch with storytellers here and found it the perfect setting to talk, connect and really enjoy our time. Service was incredible and staff truly made us feel welcomed and wanted!

Food is always good. Fun vibe. Generally the service was okay. We were a big group and on a time line. Others were served before us even though we were sitting before them. A gluten free request was served gluten. Apologies were made and a discount was discussed but did not happen. That was disappointing.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our visit to Four Mile Brew Pub. The atmosphere and decor is great. The food and drink were excellent. We loved the poutine and the tacos. We were a little confused when we first walked up about where we were supposed to go as it's split into different areas.

We were looking for a place that served french onion soup and thought we would give four mile a try. It was busy which is usually a sign that the food is good, this was not the case. We ordered the soup (obviously) and also order the scotch egg platter. The soup lacked flavour, way too much onion but a perfect bread amount; the chef needs to watch some YouTube videos on how to properly make french onion soup. The platter for $22 was a huge disappointment and definitely not worth the price. Will never go here again.

Enjoyable experience with a patient waitress as we took our time over a birthday meal. Food was served quickly and of good quality. Restaurant side was a great choice for conversing as it is quieter than the pub side.

The Four Mile is a true Westshore landmark — from family wing nights to summer pints on the patio, it’s been a staple for decades. The building, the gardens, the atmosphere — it all shines from the ground and even more from above. Grateful to have this spot in the community and excited to share some aerial shots that show just how beautiful it is. 5 stars all the way.

Good food. Good beer. Good location. Can’t ever go wrong with a historic neighbourhood pub that brews their own beer.

The clam chowder soup and salmon burger were excellent, as were the flower garden and opulent decor along with the excellent service. However, as a vegan, my choices were limited. I ordered the Budha Bowel, which offered little sustenance. Without telling me, they changed up the chickpeas for beets and gave me a double helping of raw shaved carrots when I could not eat the pickled item. It was certainly not a vegan meal I would request or prepare for myself. Vegans eat more than bland raw vegetables and need a proper serving of protein and cooked vegetables for a supper meal. I hope they develop proper vegan dishes for their menu.

Very consistently good all sides: services and food. Wednesday wing nights are definitely our favourite night at 4 Mile!

I am new to the island, and I have tried out many pubs… this is BY FAR My fave. Such great staff, genuinely friendly atmosphere, great food, not “typical pub food”, and such an amazing craft beer selection. Server Kelly was so friendly and accommodating .. will be back !!!
