Great hotel! Stayed Aug 1st to 3rd, used SPG points to pay for rooms and got upgraded to a room with a kitchen on the 3rd floor. Very clean with nice staff, option to get $5 or SPG points to not service room daily (environmental initiative). Free coffee in the mornings in lobby. Located about 15min west of downtown Victoria and 1.5 hrs east of the west shore to see big trees! Recommended and will stay again.

My room was super clean and the staff in the restaurant went above and beyond for breakfast. Amazing stay.
Could use a little more equipment in the gym but still sufficient

This particular Four Points deserves praise. We spent a few days here on a short visit to Victoria, after which we packed up and headed out. I got a call from the hotel less than an hour later to let me know they had found a laptop in the room. I forgot it there!
We ran back quickly to pick it up and bumped up the rating of this hotel to reflect the lovely service!

Hotel stay was alright for the most part dealing with the group booking through Malcolm was awesome. But I found once we where on site customer service dropped of incredibly quickly after check in… also found it very off putting that staff park in guest parking when hotel is fully booked and the response from front desk is to go park on the street or at the restaurant

The service is very good and professional. The front desk girl “Kunbo” was very friendly and nice. We had a great time to enjoy at the hotel.

So my main issue was that the room I received had a leaking AC with a huge puddle on the floor, a broken bed that was a horrible sleep and no body wash or conditioner in the shower; basically wasn’t refilled.

I brought these issues to the hotel, the AC and bed issue with the manager. The response was that they don’t know about these issues till someone tells them. No offer for reimbursement of any portion of the room, points or anything. Now I didn’t push at the time, I was with my family and didn’t want to argue honestly. They fixed the issues for me on my second day, so that was definitely a decent turn around. But after it still didn’t sit well with me. I had another night booked at this hotel about a week later and decided to cancel and pay a bit more for another hotel. Basically I couldn’t trust this hotel to compensate for any issues I might have and decided it best to stay else where. In me making this decision I went back and made a complaint to the hotel. If my experience is that I felt I wasn’t treated well enough or compensated for a somewhat big issue I had I felt I needed to pursue a better response.

The response was the same. I paid a lot to stay at this hotel during a high season with a subpar experience. So just want others to be aware of this.

Now the location is great. Easy trip into Victoria, near a grocery store, a good jumping off point to main attractions outside the city.

Update: Sent a complaint in through Marriott app, was forwarded to the hotel. Same response. To the hotel, a little goes along way early on, taking no responsibility and offering nothing when I'm paying over $300 a night to sleep on a broken bed in a damp room, even if you didn't know isn't fair to me either.

Good basic accommodation. Initial service at check in was not helpful. However, the next day we had better service. Appreciated being able to store our bikes and luggage after check out. A decent place to stay not too far away from downtown.

This hotel has mice. I was originally on the 3rd floor, if they are there, they are everywhere. I was woken at 6AM by the sound followed by the sight of them. Corrugated walls let them climb the walls. Large wall unit gave them plenty of space to live. The hotel did practically nothing for me. No room upgrade. A couple of free entrées to cover the food i lost. No money back. Would not move me to another Marriott hotel. There was no appropriate management working for at least 3 days to properly take care of me. All duty mangers were off sick. The manager they did have working, the sales manager, had no authority to grant me anything. When Expedia called the hotel to rectify things, the staff refused to engage them.
The restuarant was sub par, with a minimal menu and poor quality food for the prices. The restuarant was not open all day, only for breakfast, closing at 1030 and for dinner opening at 5 to 11. There were several large construction jobs going on surrounding the hotel, nice views of enormous cranes and gravel pits. And noise!
Good hiking nearby but not ideal for tourist activities, too far away from everything.

I head to Langford regularly for work, and have been looking for a go-to hotel. I was hoping this would be it, but after my initial stay, it will not be.

I had some issues with the amenities that were not available, and chose to deal with management instead of leaving reviews, as I see this as the practical approach. After speaking with the Customer Service Manager on several accounts and having him offer to makeup for the problems, I feel he dodged me until I checked out to avoid providing his promised remedy. When I spoke with him on the phone when he was back on shift, he put the blame on me for not saying the right comments to the staff on checkout. I suggested that if he wanted to get ahold of me with the fix he was offering, he could have reached me in my room, etc. Me asking to speak with him on checkout and having the staff tell me he was not working yet was not enough to prompt them. When I spoke with him on the phone after, he said that there was nothing he was now able to do. He was confrontational and in my opinion, condescending. I left this conversation that I was going to speak with the owner/GM when he returned, but have now decided not to, and to leave a review warning others.

ALSO - THERE ROOFTOP PATIO IS NOT ON THE ROOFTOP. IT IS IN THE PARKING LOT BESIDE THE LOBBY (see photo). THIS IS WEIRD....

This hotel is a complete disaster. The front desk staff PJ was absolutely rude, unprofessional ,unhelpful, and poorly trained. When we asked for the rest of our breakfast vouchers, the response was robotic and dismissive. No supervisor was available, leaving us with no solutions. Save yourself the frustration—don’t stay here. It was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Rooms: Rooms are below 3-star hotel expectations—honestly, it felt more like a motel than a hotel

Stayed for 3 nights on a trip to the Vancouver islands and its definitely a nice hotel. Located in Langford, it’s not too far from downtown Victoria.

We stayed in a 2 queen suite and the room was quite spacious.

Pros:
- Hotel is good and clean. Front desk was helpful.
- Room was clean and spacious.
- Comfortable beds.
- The window blinds were really good as it would block full light and keep the room dark if you want.
- Kitchenette area was okay. There were toaster and electric kettle and few cutleries as well.
- There is a in house restaurant where you can have your meals.
- Lots of big chains nearby. Costco is just the next building.

Cons
-Room lights, lights in the kitchenette was very dim. Will all lights on, the room was pretty dark.
-Breakfast could have been included with the price of the rooms.
- Not a lot of parking and can get full. There were few times when it was hard to find a parking.
-Washrooms need an upgrade.

Would recommend.

I stayed here recently, and honestly, it felt like I paid way too much for what I got. The bathroom needs a serious update—it’s pretty old and not very clean. Plus, the A/C was super loud, making difficult to have a good night sleep. They claim to be pet-friendly, but staff/manager don’t seem to accept that dogs might bark during the day - at night would be expected to bother others guests and would be an issue... Overall, I expected more for the price and was pretty let down.
