Glo is a gem with innovative, creative, yet casual food. The service was welcoming and friendly. An added bonus was the view of 5he Upper Harbor. For a non-alcoholic treat, try the pomegranate ginger fizz! Reservations, even for lunch, are highly recommended.

We each had a different flatbread pizza, (pear and Brie, New York and a barbecue chicken) All were delicious as was the sticky toffee pudding.

We had a delightful meal with a lovely water view from our table. The shrimp appetizer was to die for! The lamb meatballs were delicious as was the fig flatbread. Our service was delightful. We will definitely return!

Great ambiance. Great selection on the menu, most people would find something they like. Plates were hot that's unusual these days, so the food was hot when it arrived. Lovely waitress very attentive, pleasant and helpful. I only gave a 3 star for food because it was good but not exceptional. Not large portions by any means so the price was on the high side fir what we got. Dessert well it was pretty basic, the sticky toffee pudding was a very small portion for $11. Let's put it this way it wasn't memorable.

We have been to Glo several times and like it there. Food was good . Halibut lightly breaded and seasoned. French dip tasty with caramelized onion and rosemary seasoned dip. However, we were told twice as we were given a table that we must leave in 2 hours as the table was reserved for that time, and we felt rushed and somewhat unwelcome. We had reserved as well, so found it weird to be told twice that this was expected of us. Table behind us was loud; swearing and discussing loudly some personal issues that weren't really our business. That left our guest feeling uncomfortable. So it wasn't our best experience.
Love the restaurant, waitress excellent , just didn't love the flatbread pizza (chicken), kind of bland but was hungry so ate it! I will go back, usually overall great!!

Two of our party of four have hearing deficits so we seek out quieter times at restaurants so that we can actually carry on a conversation. So we booked at 1:30 pm and were pleased to see the restaurant was pretty quiet. There are lots of hard surfaces in the restaurant and lots of lovely big windows, so there is a limit to how quiet the restaurant can be when there are people there. The staff did their best to seat us in a quiet location, and we managed to carry on conversations for the duration of the time we were there. The food was excellent and the service was first rate by a very pleasant young woman who looked after us extremely well. I grew up in the hotel and restaurant business and so have high standards for restaurants. I do not use words like "excellent" and "first rate" lightly. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

I believe there was an employee having a meal/ party with a group of their friends celebrating some event. They were extremely noisy, shrieking and talking very loudly across their table to one another. I think they forgot they were in a restaurant.This created a very noisy environment for all the other guests making it difficult to hear what those on the other side of our table were saying when we were trying to have a conversation. Maybe a floor manager should have asked them to use their “inside voices”. My food was very good as usual though I noticed two other guests, who ordered the poke bowl, did not finish their meal as neither thought it very good. The waitress was very attentive and nice.

The atmosphere was very lively with a live DJ for a Saturday night which made you feel as if you were going to hit the club after if that is your thing. The service was very friendly and the restaurant was not pretentious which was very appreciated. The food menu is very impressive in its options and the food was timely and fast and tasted delicious. All of it was reasonably priced. Our server was friendly and attentive. We would definitely return.
