Good Earth Coffeehouse - The Bay Centre

Ugh! So cringe! I got to witness a very hostile situation between two patrons at the register and the young male barista failed to deescalate entirely. One customer was getting more and more agitated, the other more and more condescending. All that was required of the staff member was to give some clear and polite direction, the solution to the situation was painfully obvious: one customer simply was blocking the flow and did not understand where to pick up their order. The atmosphere became more and more heated and finally, the barista stepped in to raise his voice ever so sharply and bark at one of the patrons, the wrong one at that!!! Totally inappropriate!!! Unacceptable!!!

Please, please train your staff basic people skills and how to correctly read and manage tense situations, before anybody needs to resort to aggression. This was most embarrassing to watch. That poor lady who got yelled at for no good reason…

The girl working was lovely and the coffee was great but I found it very strange that they didn’t have a bathroom! It was early so the mall was closed and I couldn’t sit and enjoy my coffee there! Just a heads up for anyone looking to spend time there in the morning!

Craving a chai latte and this place makes a good one. Sat on the patio near the iconic bay centre fountain. It was a nice place to sit and rest a while. Enjoying a bit of people watching before having to continue on

The bus for my return ferry was coming in just one minute, and I really wanted to say I was sorry and ask if you could prepare it quickly. But with my limited English, all I could say was “the bus…!” Seeing me so flustered, the staff kindly hurried without getting upset. I was truly grateful, though I also felt bad for rushing, and I ended up running out without even saying a proper goodbye. Thankfully, I caught the bus.

Thank you so much for that moment. The coffee was really delicious, and out of gratitude I want to visit again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

We had only ordered a vegitarian panini and they got that wrong. Got served tuna panini and my partner ended up taking a bite. How can you make a basic mistake when serving food, you don't have multiple items to screw up a small order or the shop was not busy either.

If you like iced coffee you would be wise to avoid this cafe. The staff didn't seem to understand that sugar doesn't dissolve in cold drinks, and they were clueless about what syrups were.

Then they told me that their cold coffee is pre-made.

Most people would expect the coffee to be made there, and not just bought from the store and poured for you. There is no indication on signs or the board that it's pre-made.
