Had the Tropical Sour and it was delicious. Perfect blend of flavours without the “sour” flavour overpowering everything else. I really liked being able to see the brewing equipment. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I was advised by the staff to order food through a QR code that linked to a neighbouring establishment. Unfortunately, unbeknown to me the restaurant was closed, yet the system still allowed me to place an order and the payment was taken from my account.
When I raised this with the bar staff, I was told there was nothing they could do and that I would need to email the company myself. This is extremely frustrating, especially as I am only visiting Canada and returning to the UK tomorrow, which makes resolving the issue far more difficult.
As a customer, I would expect the bar to take responsibility for recommending this service and to offer some assistance rather than leaving me to deal with the problem alone. Sadly, this experience spoiled what should have been an enjoyable evening, and I cannot recommend this place based on how the situation was handled.
Great beer, but didn't taste the love with the $40 worth of pizza. It wasn't much better than the frozen section at the grocery store.

All hail the BREWMASTER and cute waitresses. (The beer is pretty good too, no off notes whatsoever, smooth, no yeastyness, very clean. Would drink again.)

This place is quite underrated/undiscovered gem, imo. Their beer is absolutely fantastic, service and atmosphere has always been top-notch and they also have a nice 'sidewalk-adjacent' patio. With all the different choices a beer drinker has in Victoria to sample tasty brews, this place really should be very close to the top of your list to check out. We definitely will come back here again. Highly recommend to anyone.
We held two events here as part of our KILLER B XX WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS festivities and HSBW were sensational hosts allowing us to use the entire second floor for our trivia and draft night while delivering great tasting craft beer and apps for the lads. Tons of room, great vibe. Would recommend.
