Visited a bunch of breweries over the past week in the area, and really enjoyed our time here! Bartender (shoot- can’t recall his name!) was so great to chat with. We loved our beers and the vibe was chill. Highly recommend.

This is a great brewery!I ordered a flight of four and this is how I judged it!I’ve been homebrewing and brew testing since 19771. Cirrus, 3.8 %, light straw, hazy, crisp citrus notes, gentle hops, very refreshing! Sunny weather pleaser. 9/102. Jagged Little Pilsner, 4.6%, light straw, clear, very gentle flavour, light hops, super easy drinkable almost boring. 6,5/103. Doggie Sour M.D. 4.4%, very light straw, hazy, broad pallet sour, including cheeks, light hops, pre dinner sipping? Sunny afternoon BBQ. 8/104. Beauty, 5%, Milk Stout! , dark brown, clear, wonderful dark flavours with great brightness, medium hops, fabulous! Best stout I have had in years! 8/10Cheers ?

Excellent for events! I hosted a surprise party for my partner and the upstairs was the perfect venue! Gavin and the HSBW staff helped me plan this event and they were so helpful organizing catering and making the day go off without a hitch. The food was amazing and affordable (focaccia pizza and local charcuterie are a must try), beer was fantastic, and the HSBW staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and looked after. The space holds around 30 people and is nice and private but you can also book the downstairs area for larger groups. Thanks HSBW team!

I recently visited this brewery and was impressed by its spacious layout, perfect for hosting large parties. The rotating taps offer a variety of tasty beers, and the staff creates a welcoming atmosphere. The 12oz and 18oz beers are reasonably priced, making it a great value. The addition of games and pinball adds a fun element, while the good music and events enhance the overall experience. The brewery is clean, well-constructed, and features a deli case with delicious sandwiches from The Drake Eatery, providing a satisfying culinary complement to the brews. The owners of this brewery are not only friendly but also contribute to the warm atmosphere. With occasional live music, the venue becomes even more vibrant, offering a well-rounded experience for patrons. From friendly owners to live entertainment, it's evident that this brewery goes the extra mile to create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all.

Good! Nice place, atmosphere inside is lovely, you can see the the brew kegs and bins and see the inner workings. Lots of unique beer at fair prices. The owner even gave us a gift certificate to try out more brew! The snacks are very good, especially liked the focaccia pizza! Some fun games to play while enjoying some brew and eats. Recommend.

Such a great find! The gentlemen working were very friendly and recommended some amazing beers. We tried the Fell Beast, creamsicle sour, and mango wheat beers. All were quite unique and unlike any other beer I’ve had before. Would definitely visit again.

I love this place. A great micro brewery, hidden just outside the most crowded city centre. Seats outside as well! The beers are great!

The staff are great, remember me, and clearly work well together. More importantly, they seem happy. A great place to be, my go-to sit down beer spot.
