I’ve long loved this place, not just for the food but because of their rugby connection to my Dad. Sadly, they have taken my beloved prime rib spaghetti bolognese off the menu. In my mind nothing else on the menu compares

Just had a really nice brunch involving a 2 and 6 year old and in addition to the food being excellent, our waiter was perfect and dealt well with all that we threw at him. We sat outside on a sunny Friday - the kids were supplied with a drawing and crayons as well as a menu just for them which checked all the boxes. Really happy to have this place in our hood and there's something special with their hiring process... consistently I've had attentive, not overly attentive, friendly and helpful wait staff. Their benny selection is great, the hollandaise perfect and they have, hands down the best potato hash in the city.

Wow what can I say about this fine establishment ?! Always happy to come here and enjoy the company of great service and delicious foods! bennys absolutely slap (please bring back the chorizo and guacamole benny , i yearn for it) staff and service is very attentive and incredibly friendly. STEAK SANDWHICH FEATURE whoever made that , you’re making your mama proud !

My wife brought me here as she was raving about this place last summer when she visited Victoria with her mom, who came over from Japan. My wife ordered the French onion soup and 2 crab cakes. I ordered a 3 egg breakfast that came with bacon, English bangers, marble rye toast and fried potatoes. Also got a cup of chowder and 2 fresh buns. The service was excellent. Very attentive and very friendly. The food came out hot and fresh. Everything was excellent. I'm knocking a star off for the following reason - the French onion soup. The French onion soup had a lot of rosemary in it. My wife couldn't finish it. I tried it and found the rosemary overpowered the flavour of onions and broth. It was just our opinion and we prefer not so much rosemary. It was definitely quality and served nice and hot. No problems there. Just would have preferred less rosemary. The chowder was fantastic. The flavors were perfect and some of the best chowder I've had. Will definitely be back next visit to Victoria. Hopefully for dinner so I can try some seafood items 😋
It’s difficult to write a review for this place. I ordered the Chicken Avocado Salad which was excellent! My husband ordered the chicken burger which was mediocre at best with very old dried up fries. The service was very good with a polite friendly waiter. Will we go back? Probably and we will both get the Chicken Avocado Salad.

I stay opposite to this bistro, I love their falafel veggie burger, the burger bread is the bestest bread in the world!! Super yummy burger.. had it many times , the consistency, the taste, everything remains same each time I visit, I would say magical veggies burger🍔😋😋

Enjoyed a wonderful breakfast here! Ordered the BLT Benny with a side of fruit, absolutely fantastic and so fresh! The coffee and wildberry iced tea were also so tasty! Service was excellent too!
