Usually it hosts paintings for sale by various local artists, but this time the whole restaurant was filled by an art exhibit themed around portraits of people claiming to have been oppressed and dehumanized by government mask and vaccine mandates Below each portrait was a short piece written by the subject, variously claiming to have been subject to secret government conspiracies. Used to love going here for breakfast and Caesars but the last time I tried to eat here, I stood at the door for almost 10 minutes waiting for someone to seat me. There was one large group at the time. Several staff walked by me and wouldn't acknowledge me, the bartender saw me and then looked away. I just left and went to the Bent Mast where we were greeted right away. Pretty disappointing. 3 servers walked right by me and refused to look at me? After years of going there, that treatment really felt poor. I was really looking forward to it.

We all came for the fried chicken burgers, and we were not disappointed. Really juicy and delicious, with lots of chicken and good fries. It's not as crispy as you might get from a Korean fried chicken joint, in case that's super important to you, but it's up there with the best in the city for flavour and quality in my opinion.

Do you need a Reuben? Of course you need a Reuben! Go to Heron Rock Bistro and get yourself one of their awesome Reuben’s!! Outstanding marble rye, Melt-in-your-mouth brisket and braised cabbage (not kraut). Can’t wait to go back.

Well I had a wonderful time here. Callum was my host and the 3 course evening dinner was absolutely insane. Oysters then salmon with asparagus rocket tomato and small new potatoes followed by the best tiramisu ever ( a huge slab !) Lovely wine and their coffee was so good I bought some beans. Excellent service too. I will be back!!
