The atmosphere was lovely! I spend my free time visiting cafes in Victoria, and by far Hey Happy is my favourite. I strongly recommend visiting! I got the coconut milk iced latte and the flavours were perfectly balanced making it my new go to drink.

The ups: great food, decent coffee, and nice location. Had a blueberry pop tart and it was fantastic. Was hard to chose what to eat because it all looked good. Also, the joint was very clean. The downs: like most coffee shops in Victoria Hey Happy has leaned into the pastels and uncomfortable seating esthetic. Seriously, it’s like the seating in this place was designed by the same people who make those anti homeless park benches and bus stops. I don’t know who needs to hear this, but chairs ideally have a back. One doesn’t always want to be hunch over a table.Over all, come for the coffee and the food, but get it to go. You’ll be more comfortable in the deck chairs on the other side of the bridge.

Maple wulnut cruller is ridiculously delicious. It's not like the super sweet American donuts, but a hidden sweetness with an Asian taste. However, a donut is quite expensive (I remember it was more than 5 yuan), but it is really worth a try.It feels like the boss has a lot of personality, and the rare tea items also sell Taiwanese tea.The interior is very single-friendly, and almost all seats are designed as tables for one or two people.
