The physical space and atmosphere here is incredible, but you pay a premium for it on the food, which I found to be incredibly disappointing. I visited with a group of friends and we ordered a few dishes to share; all of them were just ok to downright bad, and all extremely overpriced. The carbonara specifically was $45 and by the far the worst I have had in my life. I've had better carbonara in university dining halls, and for much cheaper. The service was just alright. If you really value atmosphere and a nice space to eat, and are willing to pay for it, you'll enjoy it, but if you want high quality, authentic Italian food, this place is simply not it.

Il Terrazzo is hands down my favourite restaurant in Victoria. The food is consistently exceptional — beautifully presented, perfectly balanced, and full of authentic Italian flavour. Their cocktail program is just as impressive, and the wine service is thoughtful and knowledgeable without ever feeling pretentious.

Il Terrazzo might just be the reason my partner and I fell in love with Victoria.
One of the best Calamari I’ve had in my life - you have to try it when you’re here! The seafood linguine was fresh, tangy and addicting. The portion was insanely generous yet felt just enough because everything was good delicious.
And our server, Adrian, was exceptional. He was attentive, polite and funny. He made our dining experience so comfortable.
This is the perfect spot for gathering with your friends, family or going on a date with your partner.

The atmosphere is eclectic, cozy, and comfortable.
The food was super yummy, I would have eaten any of the four options our table ordered. Appetizers were also very good!!
And, the service just made the trifecta of all the right ingredients for a place people want to go.
Not surprised at their success - it takes a lot of work, and it shows that their goal is to bring their best to the guest - I will be back and highly recommend :-)!

We spent our late Valentine’s dinner here, and luckily, we reserved in advance because when we arrived, we were told the wait was an hour and a half.
The place has a charming antique vibe that we found really cool. Despite being busy, it wasn’t too loud, which made for a pleasant atmosphere.
The food was absolutely fantastic!😍 They started us off with focaccia bread and a dip to enjoy with our wine while waiting for our meals. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, and my partner went with the bolognese pasta. Even with the restaurant full, our food arrived quickly. The portions were generously sized, and each bite was a delight. My partner, a big eater, couldn’t even finish his plate—it was that filling!
Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we felt taken care of. I believe she was the only one wearing a Snoopy tie, which was a fun touch. 😊
I highly recommend this spot, and we’re definitely planning to return soon.

I haven't eaten more delicious food in the last 20 years in Canada!!! Their chef must be from Mount Olympus, home of the mythical gods! Don't doubt for a second that this will be one of the best days of your life! Not only is the food divinely delicious, but the portions are so large that even an adult would have to struggle to finish them! I'm delighted and deeply grateful to all the staff and owners of the restaurant Il Terrazzo!!!

I honestly wasn’t sure what rating to give this restaurant, but I want to be honest. If you’re expecting something like The Old Spaghetti Factory, then this might be your place. However, if you’re looking for authentic Italian food, this probably isn’t it.
I was simply expecting a good dinner, and unfortunately, it didn’t meet that expectation. The service wasn’t great, and the servers didn’t seem to know their menu.
The only thing that was good was the focaccia bread. Everything else was very disappointing. I didn’t even take any pictures because the food just didn’t look appetizing.
My husband was in the industry for 18 years so we understand that it can be busy, that doesn’t usually bother us. But this experience felt different. It genuinely seemed like we were inconveniencing them just by being there, and we couldn’t even get a moment of basic attention.
Honestly, I wish I could be giving this a five-star review. I really do. I hate having a bad dinner experience, especially when you’ve spent good money and were looking forward to
