The server and everyone was great. The Marco Polo pasta i ordered was delicious however don’t really like the mango in it, does not really make sense to me (noticed there was a lot of twists to classic dishes) the other food such as the pizza was not great at all. It was good because of the service, but in terms of the food nothing special.
This is our must go to restaurant when we visit Victoria via boat for 30 years. First-year there I ordered the BlackBerry halibut and every year since then I order it and it's still my favorite cooked perfect, it's hard to make halibut moist like butter. My husband loves the olive tapenade they serve with their focaccia bread and will get an extra bowl to pour on his pasta. Best cheese cake too. Fantastic experience. Was greeted by the owner, server was friendly and knowledgeable. They made the experience personable. Food was delicious. Highly recommended. We can't wait to come back!
