One of my best restaurant experiences ever. From the moment we walked in the service was great. We were greeted with a very friendly but professional hostess and then quickly taken to our seats. Our server was very attentive and was able to answer any questions we had about the menu. The food was great and the portions huge. Would definitely return!
Solid place for Italian cuisine with the only complaint that the quality of some ingredients were not up to expectations given the price of the menu.
The mussels and shrimp used were not high quality and did not seem to be fresh. I suspect that they are just frozen bulk offerings one can buy, which is fine but mismatches the occasion.
Despite that, the chefs here are excellent, as all the dishes tasted great even with the presence of subpar...

I think this would be a top 3 restaurant in Victoria. The service is always top tier which sets it apart from most restaurants and the food is always excellent. Today I ordered the Marco Polo with a glass of the Reserve Cab Sav. We also got tomato soup to start which was hot and amazing to dip the bread in. If you are in town for the weekend make sure you book ahead because it can be hard to reserve closer to the time. You might even meet the host owl who was dining with us this...
