The food was still great- we ordered the chicken and prawn dinner. They have very large portions, definitely lots of rice though. I am glad we didn't go on a weekend, waitress said it is much busier. We definitely enjoyed our dining experience and will return 😀

I had the best experience here! The food was incredible. I ordered the Chicken Tiger that my waitress, Murphy, recommended, and it was absolutely delicious. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was so calm and inviting. I highly recommend this place. It's definitely going to be my go-to spot for dinner nights!

After eating here for years, I was unaware it was under new ownership and was disappointed with the food and the lack of a liquor license. I was looking forward to a glass of wine with dinner. The salad I love was no longer on the menu so had a Caesar with my calamari. The food was just okay. Service was great but I won't be back.

I dined at Il Greco for the first time since the new owners and was greeted by Mia as my server, she was the sweetest and had great humour. A few things have changed, they now offer Pakistan feast and have no pork or alcohol but honestly their food speaks for itself and I would argue is similar if not the exact same as to when Angelo was running it. I tried the sultan feast platter with my friend and it was delicious, greatly portioned with leftovers to take home and definetly worth more than they are charging.
I was curious about the new owners and although I didn’t get to speak to any directly, Mia mentioned her boss Zeeshan and the history behind why he chose to bring Halal food to Victoria and I found it very inspiring and a great way to intertwine many cultures. Hopefully I can meet him next time I dine!
I recommend this place for a wide variety of food options, excellent service and nice atmosphere.

Update: I've ordered twice now since my last review and they were very disappointing. Each time i placed a big order and nothing about it was necessarily good. The salad both times i couldn't eat - the dressing was terrible and the veggies tasted like they were cut and out for a long time or maybe pre-made making everything taste like onion. The sultan platter was meh. The rice was bland. The meats were mediocre. Just not worth the price i paid. It seems like the passion or maybe the original chef is not there. Hate leaving such reviews but you need to make it better.
Pleasantly surprised with the food! Everything i ordered was great. One of the best on the island right now, I hope they keep it up!

I finally tried Il Greco after 30 years of driving past it, and wow I’ve been missing out. With the new ownership since April, the menu has shifted, and a friend told me their biryani is outstanding. They were right.
I ordered the chicken biryani and beef kebabs, and both were fantastic. The biryani was honestly the best I’ve ever had, and the portions are massive my Biryani could’ve easily fed two grown men for $21.
I love that they use Halal meats, which is one of the reasons I came, and they absolutely delivered on flavour and quality.
I’ve seen reviews complaining about the lack of alcohol, but don’t let that stop you. If you need a drink that badly, grab takeout the food alone is worth the visit.
I didn’t try the pizza or pasta (I’m here for the Pakistani dishes), and as far as I know, they’re the only Pakistani restaurant in Victoria and they’re doing it right. The manager actually came to my table to ask how everything was.
I’m already planning to return with friends before the holidays. Highly recommended. Ps . I’m still eating leftovers. :) for lunch and tonight’s dinner.

Came here tonight for the first time in many years (since you guys were in the old building) and was blown away that everything still tastes the same! The food was great but that's not what this review is for. Imogen. Wow what a hostess! It was a pleasure to watch her work. Never without something to do, always busy! Whether it's correcting the cooks and teaching them what a lettuce wrap burger is or asking for the missing garlic toast that the cook forgot that the customer doesn't have to ask for, she was on top of it. You have an absolute gem of a hostess there any restaurant would be absolutely joyed to have her. Extremely friendly extremely good attitude and extremely attentive! Thank you so much for a wonderful evening Imogen. And thank you for keeping the food the same! We'll definitely be back.

Inconsitent with preparation. Chicken pizza without chicken in it. Overpriced for Sultan feast. Every time they seem to calculate gst/pst on cell phone calculator when paying at counter, looks like their system does not count that automatically.

I dined at il Greco last night, Mia was our waiter and boy was she a delight. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and what to try, the menu is full of diverse cuisine! The food was awesome, I personally enjoyed the Kabli Pulao. The atmosphere is very comforting here, look forward to enjoying their patio in the summer time. Thanks for having us! Highly recommend
