Best bar in Vic, haven’t tried the food but probably decent, great vibe and live music every time I’ve gone. Go here if your looking for a fun pub/bar to go in Vic.

Edit: wth bro they gave me a Guinness in a glass with no logo, how am I supposed to split the g?!? Still awesome bar though

I guess that He'll still hasn't frozen over yet...cause we are still getting the same great results every time we get the pleasure of dining out at our favorite pub!

As always, a great experience. The waitress was wonderful as were all the staff members. The food was phenomenal. The trio during happy hour of Irish stew, shepherds pie, and fish and chips is a must great value great food.. We go every time we come to Victoria, and are never disappointed.

Super fun atmosphere. We went here twice. It was highly recommended by the locals! The Shepherds Pie was amazing. My friend said the Bangers & Mash was great. The second night we went they had a live band. Super fun. Friendly staff. Cool old building. Will definitely go again next time I'm in Victoria!

Had a great meal and wonderful time at dinner tonight. Alex C. was awesome, had a great personality, provided excellent service and totally got our Nerdy sense of humor. The only reason we gave 4 stars for the food was the sweet chili sauce for the pork bites was horrible (the whole table thought so), but they corrected it immediately with an alternate sauce. Thank you, we will be back!

What a great place to stop. Food and service was great. The history of the building is neat.

We waited 10 minutes to get a table and sat down only to be told that two pieces of ID were required. A member of our party forgot his 2nd piece of ID, but the rest of our ID.
This should’ve been communicated at the door, we were thoroughly disappointed as last time visit we were not asked for ID. If you’re going to be strict then make it consistent.

The daily Happy Hour 2:30-5:30 is great and value priced. And Black Angus is a fun Celtic shanty group we always enjoy!

Absolutely worth making reservation!! We had a table in the front by Bastion square, we had the cod & chips, was very yummy. Stayed all night and enjoyed listening to the live music. Courtney & Britney Standing did an amazing job on vocals, singing crowd favourites from several genres.

Sadly we were very disappointed in our reservation.... The table was in a very poor location in a corner beside the staircase ... The service was very poor, we felt we were not welcome & definitely not a priority. The food was average at best and unfortunately the soup was cold. But due to not having a server check on us we couldn't let them know ... so again sadly we can not give a recommendation.. we were on a vacation and had been looking forward to the evening....

We love coming to Irish Times. My husband and I thought the Turkey dinner could have been less money.
