Visited this place twice! The taste is good and the ingredients are fresh! I feel reassured! There are quite a few base ingredients for Japanese food. When you first get it, you may think it doesn't seem like a lot, but once you eat it, you'll be full haha. Recommended for those looking for a healthy lunch or brunch!

This was my first time and I'll definitely be back when I return to Victoria. The Crunchii bowl was awesome! Super fresh-tasting and a large portion. And the staff are really kind and helpful.

Wheelchair accessibility: Large open space with tables I easily fit my wheelchair under. And the staff will help move the chair.

Best poke place is town!

I have placed many online pick-ups in the past, and I was very disappointed with my most recent order on August 4th, 2024.
I reached out to Island Poke on Douglas via email to resolve this issue directly and gave them ample time to resolve this issue rather than submitting an honest Google review- no response.
I picked up two large, crunchy bowls, and they were tiny (see pictures). It was like they ran out of certain ingredients to complete the bowl-very odd. The actual salad sat well below the bowl; usually, it's at the top, where it should be for the large. We had to supplement the bowls with quinoa and mixed veggies to satisfy our hunger, which defeats the purpose of takeout (no work, just easy and satisfying fuel). I hope this business reaches out to me so I can update this review, as this place used to be awesome...

Serving size has decreased by 50% at least... When you ordered the large bowl they actually filled it, now it's half filled.
Also, everything tastes less fresh and looks sloppier generally... It's really too bad because we liked this place but $40 for a small bowl of mush on rice ain't going to cut it.

Absolutely no sanitary and employees are absolutely disrespectful to me just cause it took me couple minutes to decide what to order even though there was no one in store but me and they were preparing my food with disgust in their faces, it’s probably cause i took couple minutes from their time on their cellphones. Never going back again here

DELICIOUS poke! Reasonable prices and portion sizes were large. Highly recommend the marinated tuna and salmon. Fish was fresh!

Parking: There is paid street parking right outside and a paid garage (Centennial) right around the corner!
