I was on a date to the MEGADETH concert. Had some ribs n a beer before the show. So glad we stopped here. I still have to go back for the brisket and the chicken. So delicious. Reasonably priced. Good atmosphere. I will definitely be back.

My husband is not easy to impress and he gives your restaurant a 10/10 so that says something. The brisket tacos are amazingggg, hubby was a big fan of the jalapeño margarita, the food is pretty well priced, and the portions are large! Winning combo here. This is our new go to place whenever we are in Victoria. ❤️

I've had Jones bbq before and found it great... that was unfortunately not at all what happened tonight. (After calling to let them know I was given a in store credit so i do appreciate that)
I ordered, for delivery, the 3 meat and 2 side platter along with the pulled pork poutine, I got brisket, ribs and sausage for my meats and the pit beans and potato salad for my sides. The brisket was so dry it was nearly inedible even with BBQ sauce, which in itself is a crime to put bbq sauce on brisket. The ribs were so tough I had to pull the strands of meat like string cheese just to be able to chew them, and for some reason the bones were only like 1.5-2 inches long. The sausage was decent but not great. For the poutine I asked for crispy fries, but what I got was unfortunately more like soggy paper straws, that stuck to the lining of the box. At least the poutine tasted good.
I am not sure if I will ever order from Jones bbq again after this incident. Which is unfortunate as Victoria does not have many bbq spots.

I recommend Jones BBQ and their catering with unreserved enthusiasm.
First off, their customer service is inviting, efficient, and neighbourly. They often even greet me by name! Secondly, their food is always high quality, moresome (so tasty you want some more), served in a timely way and in generous portions. Thirdly, their locations are convenient and accessible, providing ample parking, and a rustic welcoming “down-home” vibe in their restaurants. Atmosphere is not loud, it’s designed for visiting and is family friendly.
In addition, I can eat there safely. I have Celiac Disease and cannot tolerate gluten or cross-contamination with gluten or I am sick for 36 hours. One of their owners has Celiac disease, therefore they have dedicated fryers, everyone is educated on the safety aspects, and I am able to eat almost everything. They also own/run the Ruby restaurants, and their catering service means you can enjoy family/friends AND exceptional food without the stress, even when hosting. Triple thumbs up for your food and all your staff!!!! You truly nourish the community. Thank you.

So I had been meaning to go here for the longest time because everyone was raving to me about it. Well, I can safely say all of them were right. This place is just absolutely delicious. Their meat platters are great bang for your buck, and their crunch sandwich is the best chicken sandwich on the Island. Great portions too - I eat more than your average person and I always leave satisfied.

Was recommended by a friend, came here on the last day of our trip in victoria, we got the 3 meat platter, we got brisket,ribs and sausages, the brisket is dry and kinda light on seasoning, the ribs are alright, sausages are good, first time trying cornbread, we didn’t like it but i guess it’s on us.So overall a alright experience with fair price but kinda overrated.
