I love stopping at Just Matcha when in town for a drink or treat. The matcha drink selection is excellent and you can make floats using the vegan soft serve or dole whip. Having a spot to get soft serve is really nice in the summer. They also have a few vegan treats you can get to go along with your drink. Definitely recommend stopping in if you're a matcha person or wanting dole whip.
The location is small with a few bar height seats and some chairs with tables inside and a couple outside. The only downside is the location being right downtown which means street pay parking or parking in one of the paid parkades.

I knew I had made a mistake getting a matcha at this shop. I ordered a regular iced matcha expecting it to at least have a mild sweetness. Then they asked me if I wanted vanilla syrup and I said I wanted what their standard iced matcha would be. Then when I went to pay they added 1$ to the price! I asked why and they said it was because vanilla syrup was added and that it will always “cost extra”. It felt I was being nickeled and dimed here and they were trying to extract every dollar possible. I ordered the iced matcha as a test. If they can’t make a basic iced matcha without charging an extra dollar I would suggested going elsewhere before wasting your money here.

As a matcha lover who has tried matcha from Japan and has been drinking it for more than 10 years, and tried multiple powders, this isn't authentic 😭😭 it doesn't taste like matcha at all. The soft serve just tastes sugary, and the matcha latte doesn't even taste anything close to matcha. This may be good for people who haven't actually tried real matcha.

Got the regular iced matcha latte and ube matcha latte with almond milk. Neither tasted good nor authentic. Tasted more like green milk. 2 stars because I had the dole whip a different time and it was pretty good
Was okay, the atmosphere / decor was clean was nice, product good, vegan options. Guy behind the counter was a little curt, like you interrupted something. Interested in moving the line, 1 customer undecided behind me, and getting us out of there- kind of old style fast food, get in then get out. Not ideal for a chill and a breather. Though it says tea shop not Cafe!!
