we came twice now. The menue is very tempting and we want to try everything. For diner we had a raclette. We were surprice by the low price but we understood when it was served with lots of (very good) nugget potatoes but very little cold cuts. We would have been glad to pay more to get more meat on the plate. For lunch we chose a quiche and a savory crepe. They were both excellent, my husband had the crepe, he is from Brittany, France, and was impressed. They also have a great selection of wine by the glass. This would be our go to place if the service was faster. We waited close to an hour for the raclette at diner and about 40 mn for the quiche and crepe at lunch, then with our plates finished, another 20 mn waiting to order desert. The waiters were very nice but we just wanted to get going with the rest of our day.

We love this place! Early on we bought a few individual platters and now I'm on my second term of subscription boxes that are delivered!
Guillaume is very knowledgeable and the cheese is always delicious. We haven't done a sit-down yet but it's on our list of things to do.

I am of French origin, from the Alps. I make no secret of being disappointed by the Savoyard fondue.
First visit was the best and I think the idea of this restaurant ultimately: enjoying good wines with different cheeses.
The 2nd visit was with my local friends to introduce them to typically French dishes, with cheese.
They will not come back unfortunately, the diversity of cheeses having disappointed them as well as the fondue, they did not necessarily appreciate the sides offered.
I will come back to enjoy an aperitif but not a dinner.

We wanted to love this place and were really excited to try it out for the first time. We had several mishaps. Our fresh made pasta was cold. We were served the wrong platter, ate off it, things fell of it and then it was served to another table, lots of confusion. We got a different cheese than we ordered. It lead to us having a less relaxing and fun time. The wines we tried were okay, some misses, some good ones. There was some confusion over the wine selection by the server as well. The space is cute and cozy, the food looked great but we had such a strange experience, it was hard to look past. The shared bathrooms are very poor, very dated, not super clean and the toilets barely flushed. Shared key to use hanging on the wall and the one I used was wet when I went to use it. Not a several hundred dollar experience. We wanted it to be special and relaxing and cozy but it fell short. Some of us in our group are small business owners and we truly hope things can improve as there is lots of potential there.

The beef Bourginon was amazing and the la petit three cheese one meat platter was excellent as well.

Have not had dinner here but have done two cheese classes. They are so fun and Guillaume gives you a ton of great ideas to up your cheese game. The cheese and accompaniments are delicious and fresh. Guillaume is a super nice guy too. Highly recommend either the cheese and wine tasting or the cheese board mastery class. My hope is in future they would consider doing a fondue or raclette class. I would love to come to more classes.

After walking past this bistro several times a day for over a year, I finally had a meal there today. I am so sorry I waited so long! Owner Operator Page was very welcoming and helpful in suggesting appealing choices for the three of us with differing tastes and dietary restrictions. We were all happy with our choices and eager to return to try other things on the menu. Thanks, Page and Co-owner Guillaume. We are lucky to have. you in our neighbourhood.

First let’s talk about the good thing. Service was great. Very friendly and engaging young man. Atmosphere is nice, however, we were there on a Sunday evening and we were the only one in the entire place. It’s. it big but it was empty. Maybe being a Sunday night was the reason. We had a Charcuterie Platter that was really loaded up. Three different cheeses, two types of meat, dried and fresh fruit and a very nice baguette. The salad that it came with was outstanding. We also had the bean dip which was nice but was served cold and we noticed that the flavours came out when it started to warm up. Simple dish that takes minutes to make yet it was clear this was made in a larger batch and was refrigerated. We shared our insight with our server who said he would share our comment with the chef. Wine list is small but had some nice local as well as international wines. Interesting enough was the pricing of the wine. A bottle is $65 which contains 25 ounces. A 9 ounce glass was $20 so essentially 3 glasses yielding 27 ounces cost less than a bottle. Very odd.
On the downside was there were cob webs on the window frames. Small things make a big difference. I’m an attention to detail person and things like that, to me, though small to some people speaks to me in a negative way. Had those issues not existed I would have given 5 stars.
Bottom line. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area. Hopefully they are receptive to some small critiques and are prepared to take a closer look at things.
