Best hotpot in Victoria. Better than Haidilao. The foods choices are so fresh and amazing. Services are extremely good. I will definitely come again and highly recommended.

I have always wanted to try hot pot but I am gluten free. Laila Laila hotpot is very accommodating for gluten free. Communication with our server and the kitchen was very easy. He was able to quickly answer my questions and if he was unsure of the answer, he was able to translate questions between me and the kitchen clearly. They had many pork-free options such as beef, lamb, tripe, seafood and ox aorta.
Gluten free options included most of the meats (with the exception of marinated beef), all the soup bases, the vegetables, some rice noodles and rice, seafood etc. The balls are not gluten free and some of the sauces, ask if unsure. The music was also good.

I’m writing this review to warn others about some very troubling issues at Laila Laila Hotpot. Even though their prices are low and they’re currently advertising new promotions, the restaurant has been cited for multiple health and safety violations. Recent inspections reportedly found rat feces on the premises, and the establishment was given a high hazard rating by health inspectors.
These are not minor infractions — they point to serious problems with cleanliness and food safety. While the deals might seem tempting, no discount is worth the risk of eating in an unsanitary environment. It’s disappointing because the concept of the restaurant could be great, but the management clearly hasn’t prioritized proper hygiene and safety standards.
Until the restaurant takes real action to address these issues and can demonstrate that it has passed a proper reinspection, I would strongly recommend avoiding Laila Laila Hotpot. Your health and safety should always come first.

The waitress did not explain clearly enough how to select food, made us confused and asked her again (oh sorry if you thought our english is a problem)., Although, we did not understand why we paid that amount but we were lazy to ask bc we lost patience with their service. In general the food quality was ok, not as good as our expectation. After paying, they said free ice cream would be served in 5 minutes but we waited for 15 minutes and it was not worth our waiting time.
