Vraiment très bon et service en français également!
This business is no longer around and we wasted our time and energy going here. In fact, it cost me a parking ticket because we had to find somewhere else to eat and by the time we did that and got back to our car, we were literally l0 minutes past the time we paid for and clearly Victoria Canada is Johnny on the spot issuing parking tickets!! THIS BUSINESS IS CLOSED - AT BOTH LOCATIONS!!
Best view, great burgers, the spicy poutine is to die for. Worth coming to Victoria just for this.
Burgers were tiny, about the size of a jr burger at Wendy's and the patties were mass produced and probably frozen. The poutine consisted of small fries.
The price was about $21 for a combo, in my opinion that was way too expensive for burger combo that small.
I think A & W does poutine much better and for less money. We could eaten at The Bard & Banker and had a pub burger combo for the same price, it would have been a 'hand made in house patty' and it would have been twice the size.
I love this place! My co-workers and I enjoy a “Happy Fry-day” downtown Victoria. Really great poutine, and all the specialty versions are delicious.
Friends from out-of-town love it as a quick and easy lunch on the waterfront, can’t beat the view and convenience.
Also, never been glutened by their gluten-free options.
Great food and the staff is awesome. Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area.
We specifically sought this place out after reading good reviews. We went close to closing time, but even with that, they were super friendly and the portions were large. It was delicious!
Fries are prepped perfectly for poutine! My veggie burger was very tasty, and eating right on the wharf with a view of the water made it even better!
We did walk down a lot of stairs to get from street level to the restaurant, but there is a large parking lot in front so I imagine if you’re in a car it would be easy to drive in and park right there.
Just about the perfect classic poutine. Fries were cut perfectly. Gravy was awesome consistency and not too salty and very fresh cheese curds.
We got a large classic poutine which is probably a good size for two people. It was great! The owner was running the shop when we came by, he is super friendly and attentive 🙂

I was SO excited to try this place on our vacation. I was starving and looking forward to authentic poutine. IT WASN’T OPEN!!! it said it should be and it wasn’t. I was beyond disappointed. 😢
First time here a couple of weeks ago. We both enjoyed the classic poutine. Service was friendly and surprisingly knowledgeable. Good atmosphere. We will be back for sure!

The classic poutine here is a MUST if you’re visiting Victoria. It is a walk up style, out door dining situation but totally worth stopping by.

Loved the bacon cheeseburger and the Montreal smoked meat poutine! The outdoor seating was nice with the view of the inner harbour.

Had a mix up on a late night order. They closed before I could come back, but sent me an e-transfer refund the next morning. Really nice people.
