In Victoria for a port day and trekked to Leopold's for a vegan lunch. We were the only customers the whole time and it was GREAT! We inquired about the burgers and apparently the bun has an egg wash, but the chef offered to proof a few buns w/out the wash if we wanted to order burgers. That's service!
We decided to order a large Cheeseburger Poutine and the Plant-Based Wings to see how they were. I also ordered a Mango Jalapeño Mule, which was very tasty, but I wouldn't consider spicy. The poutine was OMG good! It was very saucy and cheesy and yummy. The only thing I would change would be to use less pickled cucumbers. Each bite seemed to get progressively more pickle-y as the eating went on. Maybe change the cucumber proportions. Other than that, it definitely hit the spot and I would order it again. The wings were interesting as they had a small dowel as the "bone". The flavors were great and the outsides were crispy. The "meat" was slightly spongy, but not completely unlike chicken meat. I believe we got the Tajin dry rub and it was very tasty. I would definitely order both again.
All in all, Leopold's has a very welcoming, inclusive atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would not hesitate to recommend it. A great experience all around!

Leopoldo’s is a nice spot. Friendly, warm, and solid plant based options. No glitter, no glam. Food, drink and unafraid of providing vegan options, even if they are afraid to say the word (plant based wink wink)

Great staff, very friendly and they go out of their way to help you! The wings were delicious and the mocktail too. I went with my friends and the atmosphere was very nice. I’m not sure how I feel about all the restrooms being gender-free but they were clean so it was fine. Definitely going back, especially for their promo on wings!

There was a fantastic time when this place had an inclusive, alternative bartender who crafted a delightful pineapple Mezcal cocktail.
It was too bad that I encountered a not-so-welcoming, scrunchy-wearing individual the last two times I stopped by to enjoy good vibes and that delicious Mezcal drink. After being mean to me, I asked, please pick the tip you think you deserve: 20% tip for giving me what I can describe as a pretentious, sour-dull attitude 🤧
The deco is great. I enjoyed playing the music they inspired me to hear through the TouchTunes app 🏓

I've only had delivery from here so I can't speak to the atmosphere or the actual restaurant as I'm sure the experience and food is much better in person. Unfortunately the food that gets delivered is mainly just mush, especially if it's a poutine. The fries are pretty undercooked and no crisp left to them. I tried the buffalo chicken mac and cheese and the macaroni was good but the chicken just doesn't hold up in those containers. The first time I ordered a burger, I believe the Juke burger, it was very overcooked and burnt and was severely lacking in toppings. Again, probably a much better experience eating in the actual restaurant and I will say most of the flavours are pretty good and the portions are large.

We ordered a Thai Chili Bowl (greens instead of rice), Southwest Burriito Bowl and a Black Bean Burger via DoorDash. All tasted fabulous! Would order again. Fresh avocado on both bowl and burger were a nice accompaniment and didn’t cost extra. Even the rice in the bowl was flavorful. Special instructions were followed accurately. The only bummer was that the standard fries were too skinny to retain any warmth or to be reheated after arrival. But there are lots of other sides options. Not eating the fries was probably better for us anyway. 😆

The sour cream onion dip is a favourite. This time around whoever prepared it put about 1000 green onions on top and in the dip. It was basically inedible and just eating green onions with a dollop of dip….sucks that a perfect appetizer has been completed ruined
