Waited 20 minutes to pick up for delivery. Ended up canceling the order. If you guys aren’t organized enough to work with third party delivery services then you should t offer those services. There were 5 other delivery people waiting. It’s so disrespectful to waste people’s time like that.

Lot 1 Pasta earns five stars almost entirely for one reason: their four-cheese rigatoni. I’ve tried other pastas on the menu and they’re not really my thing, but that rigatoni is on another level. Rich, perfectly balanced, and easily one of my favourite pasta dishes of all time. For that dish alone, it’s absolutely worth the visit.

Have been here for dinner numerous times and always had great service and food every time. This past Saturday we went for my son's birthday and the service was horrible to say the least. The waitress only came by twice, never once asked how our meals were or asked if my wife wanted a refill on her drink. Left us with the POS machine and left. Won't be returning.

We went there a few weeks ago and had dinner. Looking at the reviews here I believe my friend and I had the same experience as most people. I'll be brief ... I ordered the Bolognese with rigatoni. When they brought it out the pasta was not rigatoni. I inquired about that and the waitress said well that's how we make rigatoni. OK? I am quite easy to please. Sadly no matter how you make it if the pasta is overcooked and the Bolognese has zero flavour. Nothing's gonna help it.
However I'm going back tonight. Gonna give this spot a second chance. We shall see what we shall see.
I do love the atmosphere. The night we went the staff were absolutely delightful. The food? Not so much. But I WANT to support local restaurants. And DAMMIT!!! It is WINE WEDNESDAY!!! LOLOL
OK so went back on Wednesday. I do love this place. DId the Wine Wednesday thing sat at the bar. The resto was not busy which is a shame.
Ordered a few appetizers. Now I am NOT being critical but some constructive criticisms MAY hepl fine tune stuff. Portion control: Ordered the carpaccio - WAY too much bread with it! A few slices of toasted baguette would do. The beef was excellent! However serving a carpaccio with truffle aioli and capers is certainly interesting but the elegance and subtlety of the dish requires no more that some olive oil and shaved parm! Will rder again FER SURE!
My friend had the calamari It was just fine!
WE sat chatted and enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was wonderful.
I def will be back and will warm up to trying a pasta again. I cannot say enough about the atmosphere. Lovely!

Ordered Take out for my Wife and I. Moroccan Chicken ( delicious) then my Wife got the Pesto Chicken Radiatori. She received Linguine & Wagyu Meatballs instead. Which had one tiny Meatball and that's it. Even the receipt had the Pesto on it. Terrible. Do better.

Lot 1 Pasta Bar is located in Saanich at the corner of Blanshard and Cloverdale. Has above average service, good seating, and exceptional Italian dining. I believe their pasta is made onsite. I consider this restaurant second only to Il Terrazzo for fine Italian dining.

Excellent food, I had the scallops and prawn pasta. Beautiful place but terrible service. There was hardly anyone there so they can't have been that busy. There was a handful of people there that the service was atrocious.
