As a former resident of Cairo I feel I know Egyptian food. And I LOVE Cairomum! Everything Ahmad and his staff make is authentic and delicious. Cairomum has brightened my life!

By far the best food I had in Victoria, Ahmed and Sondus run a tight ship and the community seems to know it! Ahmed suggested getting the lamb shank the first time I visited and he was so real for that. I also tried the hummus with pita, falafel, and the chicken with rice. All of their food was awesome and they don't stock Coca Cola products for obvious reasons!

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here - what a great addition to the neighbourhood! Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. Can't wait to try more of the menu, and can see the $10 falafel on Mondays becoming a regular habit. Get the garlic sauce, you're welcome.

I have eaten from Cairomum a few times now. The food and service are exceptional! The staff make you feel welcome and are very accommodating. My favourite dishes so far are the chicken shawarma wrap, falafel, and the side of pickles/veggies. My tastebuds were very happy. I will be back soon!

I am sooo grateful that this restaurant moved right down the street from my house, otherwise I would have never known about it!

10 across the board. We walked in and they were so friendly, greeting us right away. They walked us through the whole menu, which was great because we had never tried Egyptian food before. They brought the food to us with napkins and cutlery, which I thought was a really nice touch instead of calling our name , truly above and beyond service. We told them we were sharing and they automatically gave us two empty bowls, didn’t even have to ask. Very thoughtful.

I ordered the lamb shank and I really have to say… the sauce on the lamb and potatoes was so unreal. I was honestly shocked by the flavour profile 😍 Max flavour with no heat so it’s fun for everyone
