We went in 30mins before they close. We are fully aware and still deciding which one to order for take out as majority of the food are already dry and lesser options (understandable as they are closing by 6pm). A filipina girl staff with a contact lense approached us and started to get a to-go box and was gonna put noodles, I have to stop her and give us a minute as we are still undecided yet which food to order. She told me in a very rude way “we are closing so you have to order soon”with a behavior and looking at me not in a nice way (which I am fully aware about 25mins more left before 6pm). This was not our first time to order as we always like rice/noodles for lunch with my kids. This staff has been rude eversince and we always let it go,but yesterday I cannot let it go as my kids are around and saw how she disrespect us in front of my kids banging the serving spoon in the to-go box and face looking annoyed. I want follow up and action regarding her behavior to customers who are patiently waiting to order and just wanting to have comfort food for her family. I believe no matter how big or small your order is, being kind makes a big difference.

For the first time in 20 years we got food poisoning eating at the location in Mayfair mall yesterday. Both myself and my 65 years old mom were up all night with stomach cramps and vomiting the food we ate here! Do not recommend this place at all!

Food for one plus drink: $20
Positive: Fresh, delicious, lots of option, service is quick even during peak hour.
Negative: expensive for the amount you get compared to Fairway or Quality Foods. Even with 3 option topping, I was not full.
Food for thought: quick bite to eat but better food stall options at the mall.
Can’t stop eating the bbq pork here, it’s just that good.. Food always tastes so good and consistent. I’ve been to other Manchu woks and nothing can beat the Manchu wok in Victoria.

DONT EAT THEIR WONTON SOUPS! It’s basically uncooked vegetables with old noodles in hot boiling water, I guess the noodles from the day before get tossed in so they don’t have to add water to the bowl? It’s supposed to be broth and I get it, it’s in the mall, it won’t be Michelin grade Pho but this is literally unsalted boiling water. I never thought anyone could ruin such a simple soup but this place somehow found a way

The food is good - BUT the portions are small. For $15 for rice, breaded meat and a pop they give too little food. All the ingredients are low cost so don’t be so cheap! They don’t like giving out much ice and the drinks are not cold enough unless you ask for extra ice. At lunch time when it’s busy the food is really good. If it’s not busy it can be a bit stale. This could be a 5* review if they would stop nickel and diming on portion size, ice and keeping large cups in stock. Buy an ice machine! You have a successful business - stop being so cheap!

Unfortunately I cannot comment on the quality of food at this location as the rudeness of the cook staff and a mistake by the front counter staff.
I question what is the pont of having a reward system if the staff disregards it? I installed the app on site and when going to pay asked how to get the points. The person at the counter said follow the directions on the pinpad. When I made payment and saw no prompts for rewards, Asked for my receipt and I asked the cook staff who brought out my soup, how do I get the points.
This is where it got fun as he said you have to sign up online and I replied and showed him the app on my phone. I then asked how do I get the points again. He said you can't, you have to do it before paying. I said that's why I asked before i paid. He responded "that's too bad you can't get them. Next time." Well since he was so abrupt, I said no, not next time. He chuckled and said "WHATEVER" and walked away.
Needless to say, I will be uninstalling the app as I will not be going there and letting everyone I know the experience that I had at this location.
