We recently dined in March restaurant in May 2025. The food and ambiance were excellent, and we were pleasantly surprised with the discovery of this restaurant in Victoria. Please note that this is not your typical Chinese restaurant that serves the run-of the mill dishes for a quick turn-around; instead, this restaurant serves authentic Cantonese cuisines. The beef brisket noodle soup was pretty good - it costed $25 CAD. However, the boiled fish dish was disgusting. I ordered it under the impression that it was the chinese style plate where it’s a whole fish cooked with ginger and scallions with a light fragrant sauce. I was wrong.

Pictures on the menu would help.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. Great service, lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend the pork belly, and the congee.
