Marina Dockside Eatery is a delightful experience! The patio is a standout feature—spacious and offering stunning harbour views. You can relax with a refreshing drink while watching boats glide and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
What made the experience memorable were the fascinating sights just beyond the eatery. I spotted seals and even a few otters playing in the water! It’s an excellent spot for delicious food and a bit of sea life watching.
If you’re in Victoria, don’t miss out on this gem. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a fantastic meal and the harbour's beauty!

We had been to the Oak Bay Marina Cafe (I believe it is now called the Marina Dockside Eatery), a long time ago for coffee; that was not memorable. We recently revisited their premises for lunch because we were in the vicinity and very hungry. The location is pleasant, especially the outdoor tables facing the Oak Bay Marina. As it was around noon, there was a sizeable lineup. The menu is rather limited, and some of the options were sold out, so my husband chose the curried chicken wrap, and I had the falafel wrap. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre, and the prices do not reflect the poor quality. While we were waiting for our food, we noticed the kitchen staff coming out with dishes which didn’t look or smell appealing. Although the chicken wrap was on the generous side, it was tasteless, in contrast, the falafel wrap was skimpy, just three little burned falafels lost in a soggy so-called Greek salad. It was not satisfying; we left in a hurry to find another place to satiate our hunger. I am at a loss to understand what the people in that long lineup were there for. We won't go back and do not recommend.

Waited 10-15 minutes for two small lattes while watching three baristas behind the bar chatting and hanging out. The coffee was good but the wait and lack of care by the baristas soured the experience.

The food is ok but the price is reasonable and there’s not many cafes that have a view and atmosphere like this. There’s parking right next to the marina that’s free and it is also great to go on a short walk around the area as well. Just don’t expect the food to be amazing and you won’t be disappointed.

Me and my family came in 5 minutes to closing for some ice cream. When we walked in, we saw the service worker make eye contact with us and turn around and go to the back. When we got up to the counter we waiting a minute thinking they were getting something but they never came back out even when we were saying “hello” and “we saw you see us”. Very passive aggressive, I know we’d were coming in last minute, but you were still open.

Amazing location, best vanilla chia latte, fresh ingredients! My friend and I each got a vanilla chia latte, I got a lemon square, and a smoked steelhead bagel.The chai latte was super creamy and perfectly balanced, the lemon square wasn't too sweet and had good flavour throughout, the ingredients on the bagel were fresh and clean, the bagel itself though..... gotta say, I haven't had that hard and stale of a bagel in years.Might have been an off day, will try again.
