Went in for a quick bite soup and sandwich and that’s what we got with a great view. Order at the counter and they deliver to your table. We had 2 of the daily soups a cheese toast topped onion soup ( not traditionally done but delicious nonetheless ) and a traditional ham and green pea soup. Both were served in large tureens with a small B piece of bread each and we shared a house salad for $8.00. What deal and it was super fresh !! They also have draft beer and canned cider as well as their hot beverage offerings. They are open for breakfast and lunch. If it’s sunny and warm out the tables in the patio overlook the marina with its offerings of moored sailboats docked for your seaside pleasure. It’s a bit noisy and difficult to talk when the place is busy so be forewarned.

A great little cafe at a wonderful location. Most of the baked goods are made on site and are excellent and better priced than most . Blended coffees are good but the standard drip coffee is not good, never has been. Perhaps choosing a different roaster? Otherwise, staff are always welcoming, and you can't beat the location.

The place is cozy, with great food and drinks, plus a lovely view. I have no complaints and come here often. The sandwiches are especially good!

I really enjoyed this place, The coffee was fresh and tasty, honestly, it made me happy just holding the cup, The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made it easy to relax and just enjoy the time there, Inside there’s plenty of seating if you want to hang out, but the patio is the real star, Right by the water, lots of tables, umbrellas if you want shade, and sunny spots if you’re chasing the sun, I also noticed customers were careful to keep their dogs on leashes so no one got bothered, and staff even politely reminded one person, it was kind of cute and really showed how much they care about everyone’s comfort, Overall, I had a great time, felt cozy and welcome, and I’d definitely come back again.

This cafe is like finding a precious jewel. With the ocean views, and the sound of the waves lapping at the boats it is a favorite spot to have a coffee.
However there was a waitress who was very very rude (a tall girl) and that put a damper on things. Fortunately all the other wait people were fantastic!
I love this marina cafe 🤍☕️⛵️🤍

Just had coffee and croissant but it was good.

Didn't get my sausage rolls, muffins, beef chilli, tuna melt, seafood chowder, house chips, or even the pulled pork. Understandable as everything is made fresh daily 😋, so just a note to self they are completely sold out of 80% of menu items by 2pm.

Still enjoyed time spent, the view, and my java fuel🤗 that was much needed ❣️ ordered a Ruben 🥪 as our snack before going on a short 👫 walk.

Read the weekend printed newspaper 📰 (only in Victoria) comic section first time in many years.

One of our favorite places. Very friendly place.

Overpriced small portions and terrible management rundown building and docks.

Smells like vomit at low tide.

Grossly overpriced mediocre stuff. For instance a cup of tea costs $ 3.50 plus and they use the cheapest tea bags available on the market (Red Rose).

You are pushed into giving a tip which of course is higher than normal because of the high cost of items and zero customer service as well!

Avoid if you can

I had the breakfast wrap. It was so tasty and a very good portion. My macchiato was also excellent. Nice view to look out at the marina.

Marina Dockside Eatery is a delightful experience! The patio is a standout feature—spacious and offering stunning harbour views. You can relax with a refreshing drink while watching boats glide and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.

What made the experience memorable were the fascinating sights just beyond the eatery. I spotted seals and even a few otters playing in the water! It’s an excellent spot for delicious food and a bit of sea life watching.

If you’re in Victoria, don’t miss out on this gem. It’s the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a fantastic meal and the harbour's beauty!
