The food is ok but the price is reasonable and there’s not many cafes that have a view and atmosphere like this. There’s parking right next to the marina that’s free and it is also great to go on a short walk around the area as well. Just don’t expect the food to be amazing and you won’t be disappointed.

Me and my family came in 5 minutes to closing for some ice cream. When we walked in, we saw the service worker make eye contact with us and turn around and go to the back. When we got up to the counter we waiting a minute thinking they were getting something but they never came back out even when we were saying “hello” and “we saw you see us”. Very passive aggressive, I know we’d were coming in last minute, but you were still open.

Amazing location, best vanilla chia latte, fresh ingredients! My friend and I each got a vanilla chia latte, I got a lemon square, and a smoked steelhead bagel.The chai latte was super creamy and perfectly balanced, the lemon square wasn't too sweet and had good flavour throughout, the ingredients on the bagel were fresh and clean, the bagel itself though..... gotta say, I haven't had that hard and stale of a bagel in years.Might have been an off day, will try again.

This place reached its peak as the Marina Cafe/Deli in the late 90s. Tried going again recently. It has since become a sad version of what it once was largely because the great staff left after the way the Oak Bay Marine Group management treated everyone there. The current iteration has few items at rather high prices, dated facility, and not friendly staff throwing gang signs behind the counter. What even is this place's identity now?

Waited 15 minutes to order a cup of coffee when one girl was up at the till and two others were standing beside her chatting and laughing and doing nothing at all. I told the girl who took my order that this was quite disrespectful and they could easily be taking people's drinks and expediating orders, and she smiled and nodded and stared directly through me as she agreed with me, both of us knowing that she did not give a good God damn and nobody was going to do anything about it.
The food was great! We got the breakfast sandwich with bacon and avocado and the steelhead bagel. The girl making the coffee was pretty rude, though. Our iced americano had no ice in it. When I asked about it (because my iced chai was full of ice) she gave me attitude and wasn't helpful at all.

Sitting on the deck eating salmon chowder with a beautiful blue sky above, what could be better than that. Service is good, chowder very good and atmosphere great. Highly recommended for a light lunch.

It has the location and contrary to my review of years past the food and drinks have vastly improved, now my favorite place in Victoria for coffee and a quick bite. A tad pricey maybe but excellent choices like the steelhead lox bagel, sour cherry tea etc make it a bit different. Always busy but friendly service. Appear to be coming out of COVID well with no more prepackaged food. Highly recommended.
