I know some say the prices can be bad here but certain items I find do cost a bit less than places like Lifestyles or Thrifties etc. The selection is good; tofu, cheeses, non-dairy milks and yogurt, cereals etc. Sometimes you can find baked goods in the bakery section as well. They seem to get seasonal products in as well such as unique coffee, creamer, and dandies flavours. They also sell vegan supplements, protein powders, and self-care items. However this is a large chain store, so if you're trying to support local probably not your spot. Location is the size of a syandard grocery store with a coffee shop included on the left side of the store. Parking lot for uptown is quite large but can be confusing for people to navigate.

We spent a few days in Victoria and were delighted to find lots of good stuff to get us by. It’s always fun to visit a new place and stumble across items we don’t see back home.
Huge store. American owned but staffed by Canadians and selling many local BC and Canadian products. Glad this chain came to Victoria. There are loads of vegan products and lots of fresh produce, both organic and conventional. Bulk section. Olive bar. Hot and cold buffet that is pay-by-weight. Big frozen section.
Comparing it to American WF it's seems like there are less clearly labeled vegan options in the pre made bakery and deli. However, it's better than most grocery stores since there actually are options. I spotted Gardein, earth balance, tofurky, Earth island etc.

I used to really like WF. Great products, a good selection, etc. Unfortunately, since they have moved the homemade soaps, which are unwrapped, near the check out line, I can't go in there without coming away with headaches, sore throat, and watery eyes, congestion. I've talked to several cashiers about this, who said they would speak to Customer Service, to no avail. I've made a comment on the bulletin board, leaving a phone number (supposedly for them to respond) but nothing happened. So today, after spending quite a bit of time in line and ending up feeling awful, I bid adieu to WF. I wonder why they don't put the soaps at the other end of the body care products, where people with allergies can avoid them. Allergies are common. They are serious. I'm sure I'm not the only ex-customer who is no longer able to shop there because of this.
When I am doing a shop, am hungry and want something ready to go...there is the vegan pizza. It is a no cheese one but that means all the healthier. Nice roasted veggies on athin crust. They also have vegan scones and a real great chocolate cake that is easy to grab with planning or in a pinch. Other vegan treats are available as well as a a number of vegan cheeses, faux meats and of course, great organic produce. Vegan vitamins and beauty products too.
The burrito bowls are great; usually get once a week. Their vegan pizza also good!

the store is filled with a variety of vegan options to choose from, a little over priced but you’re able to find what you need.
Whole Foods Market has a wonderful selection of natural and organic foods. It is exciting & fun to shop there. They are committed to sustainable agriculture & supports local vendors and farmers. The thing the I almost always buy when I visit Whole Foods is organic bananas. They have one of the best prices for this product in Victoria & it is not even on sale! They are located at the Fourth Level at Uptown Shopping Centre, just off of Blanshard St. & Ravine Rd. in the municipality of Saanich. Parking can be found either underground off of Blanshard or Ravine or in front of the store located on the upper level off of Blanshard. Some of the store's features that may interest our HappyCow community includes: Discovery Coffee Bliss Smoothie Bar Licensed Patio Catering Sushi bar Build your own Burrito Bar Fire Pizza Oven Huge Selection of Sandwiches Family Meal Deals Over 10,000 Organic Products An extensive olive bar featuring 30 types of olives, tapenades and dips Full concierge service including tours, provisioning, gift baskets and grocery delivery
I love that the hot and cold bars have ingredients for items, so you can tell which ones are vegan. The baked goods often have cookies and muffins which clearly say "vegan", so they're easy to find. I love the vegan pizza by the slice (no cheese, though - just sauce and veg). There are clothing, cosmetic, supplement, and grocery sections as well.
Be it lunch to go, a good snack, a frozen vegan pizza, breakfast pastry or ingredients whole foods has it! Whole foods Victoria is huge it's like all the ones on earth combined even has its own free underground parking. Lots of vegan options even a fully vegan cafe called "Bliss" where I got a vegan spring roll with peanut sauce! They even had vegan options in the bakery which you'd never find in my home country, like vegan chocolate cupcakes and breakfast pastries like vegan chocolate chip scone (which I tried- delicious) and vegan sums muffins.
