We had a really nice server. My son and I had fish and chips. We ordered the two piece meal. I reasoned that sometimes you get a puny piece and go hungry if you just get a single piece. Oy! Big pieces of fish. Fantastic chips. Two happy guys. The VI Pil was on special so it couldn't have been better.

I visited during an all day happy hour day. I had a burger and lager for $16 - a phenomenal deal. The burger had excellent flavour and not realizing I was hungry, wolfed it down happily. A wonderful balance of sauce, charred meat and cheese. Simple but well done. The lager was decent but something I am not sure I would order again. Not to fear, they have a full bar with plenty of options. I came in while I was waiting for a family member's medical appointment. I work on the road often and these types of joints are my jam.
