I had the Med Lover Pizza, which was a total disappointment. It was OK, but much less than expected from this restaurant. Then we had 2 glasses of wine, for $18 a piece. This is an OFFENSE. For $36 you can buy a fine bottle of wine. We have loved the Med Grille for 21 years, but this took the wind out of those sails. Badly.

The Valentine's Day 4-course menu offered at Med Grill on West Saanich Road was absolutely superb. A very good value at $60 per person. The first course of crostini with a slice of poached pear on top was absolutely delicious. Best we have ever had. The main course of chicken was delicious as was the salmon and seafood linguine. (We loved the fact there was a whole piece of salmon on top of the pasta.) The salmon was perfectly cooked. We enjoyed the brownie with expresso ice cream for dessert. It, too, was very good. Although we wished there had been panna cotta for dessert as we like how the Med Grill does the panna cotta there. The server was excellent. She came by to check on every course we had. She was very pleasant. What was also impressive was we noticed how the next course was brought out to the table as soon as diners were finished with the prior course. Very good pacing of food. Is there a new chef at the Med Grill? The food seems better than ever. Every course tasty, well-conceived, and delicious. We very much enjoyed our experience.

Our Med Grill meal on Thursday at 7:30 was excellent. Normally the restaurant is noisy but coming a little later made it much more enjoyable. I had the short ribs with mashed potatoes and vegetables and my wife the planked salmon with potato fingerlings and vegetables. Everything perfectly cooked. Liked the quantity and quality of the meal and the service was excellent. Definitely one of Victoria's best restaurants with an extensive menu and decent prices.

Our server was fine. The 'pad Thai salad' was not very good and the price was ridiculous for farkay noodles ( should've been rice noodle ) no Thai flavor whatsoever and a lot of lettuce with a few specs of red pepper. Focaccia bread doesn't go with a said 'thai' dish either. I've had some excellent meals there. This was so disappointing.

I took two elderly family members here for a Saturday lunch, and we were all blown away by the food and the service. The tomato soup was off the charts and the brownie cheesecake was hands-down the best I've ever had: flavorful and amazingly light. Special kudos for the front-of-house staff who ensured we were seated comfortably and that the requests in our reservation were honoured... as well as making parking super-easy. So impressed that I took my husband there for dinner a week later... same terrific experience. We will definitely be returning!

The five stars just are not enough for every aspect of this restaurant. The food, the service, the ambiance and the excellent value. Truly a winner 10 out of 10 in our books. Because this is in our neighborhood, we have been here countless times and never ever have we had a bad meal or bad service. Love it!

Me 5 other friends went here last week foe me first time. Food was discussing over cook cold served. My friend said burger was burnt they left on table whole time even when they brought him another one. French were disgusting im sorry very unhappy 154 dollar total for discussing food. Poor service no refill on water or coffee or pop very sad.
