This truck is the bees knees and everyone in the area code knows it. Fast, amazing, good coffee, everything local. I've been a few times and *armand* (I might have that wrong) always is stoked and cheerful and makes sure everything moves fast.
When I first read the menu, all I could think was, I could probably make this myself...but there was something so good about the simplicity of the breakfast sandwiches that it just hit the spot perfectly. It was the right amount of cheese to meat to egg to sauce ratio. The spicy mayo combined with the bun also really just made it delicious. I used to frequent the Melt Truck for lunch when I lived in Victoria. I moved away several years ago and I still think about their melts on a weekly basis. Nothing I've tried or attempted to replicate has ever come close. I miss you, Melt Truck. I crave your eggy goodness.
