Menbow Ramen Bar -- Authentic Japanese Ramen

Just another prepackaged ramen shop. I went with my family we made a big order and the waiter made 3 errors: 1. gave me ginger ale instead of cider, 2. forgot the gyozas entirely, 3. he specifically asked for the type of noodle between kale/egg/rice: i asked for egg and received kale noodle.

It's so simple to deluver the order and validate it's correct and complete.

I used to get tan tan which was delicious. Now i realzed they cahnged the recipe, removed all the meat that used to be in the dish AND raised the price. Disappointed and wont be going back.

The service was wonderful, polite, and prompt. The food was also top-notch. I haven't been able to find a decent bowl of ramen for a while, so this was a lovely experience. Absolutely will be going again.

Perfect restaurant for mixed veg and non-veg company. Two vegan ramen options plus several sides and add-ons. Delicious!

I’m honestly love Menbow Ramen.🍜Their flavours are always on point and super consistent no matter when I visit! Even though Menbow has a few locations, this one’s my go-to 🙌. I really like the vibe here and the staff are always friendly and welcoming 😊. They’ve got a solid variety of ramen options, but my fave is definitely the Tantan Ramen 🔥. The BBQ beef ribs are awesome too.🥩 So tasty and tender! If you’re into Asian cuisine, this place is a must-try! 👍🏻

My only recommendation is the wood ear mushroom in the ramen should be soaked into water for longer before serving to customers. The wood ear mushroom taste better when it’s 100% soft

Don’t pay attention to the low reviews posted on here - they are from the mall kiosk version at Hillside which, admittedly, loses something in the translation. Menbow on Blanshard is absolutely excellent! Tourists? Walk a little farther! You won’t be disappointed. Way better than Kinton. No comparison for flavour.

Definitely one of my favorite ramen places. Affordable yet never fails to hit the spot. Service was great and servers are always attentive towards customers’ needs. Highly recommend black garlic ramen, gyoza, and chicken karaage

Very promp service, tasty food, I would recommend exeptional Chicken Kaarage Don and Veggi Gyoza, combined with Sapporo beer.

unassuming from the outside, but once you go deeper in there’s a recreated indoor outdoor courtyard! also the ramen serving size wasn’t too big. i’m a young 5’4 woman and usually struggle to finish my bowl but not here!

The food was well prepared, tasted great and arrived in a timely manner. It is a very convenient place to have lunch downtown. The service was also very good, Our server was helpful and attentive.
